Game Thread, Twins vs Blue Jays 5/29 @7:10pm CT

WAAAAAAAAAAIIILLL. I blame myself.

[ashbury]

How about a Mauer walk-off in the ninth?

Don't reckon that's quite possible now.

[drunksam]

Burn the cowbells. Burn them all.

[gil4]

But enough of that.  We have a ballgame here.

Had.

So about those pinstripes...

[curt1965]

Not a bad pitch by Perk......

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Well this sucks.

[twinsnorth49]

Buehrle is like the goddamn energizer bunny. Either that or he has a rubber arm. Can the Twins check that?

[formerly33]

I wish it was Stauffer on the mound.

[curt1965]

Hate to, but have to give Cola credit!

[stringer bell]

Regression for everyone but Colabello.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Or carry a DH.

Either way.

Bingo. This organization is loaded with DH's.

[ashbury]

I wish it was Stauffer on the mound.

Yeah, Molitor's going to have to face some tough post-game questions as to how you lose a close game and never get your best pitcher into the game.

[curt1965]

IMO, Perk was distracted by the plate umpire. Don't see that very often. But it happens, and it's not the end of the world. Toronto can bash!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Don't reckon that's quite possible now.

It is, but requires the Twins to allow enough runs so the Twins can bat around for Mauer to do on his second at bat of the inning.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Colabello did hit a good pitch. And Perkins had the other guy struck out if not for the ump falling asleep behind the plate.

[drock2190]

Yay, here comes Timmy!!!

Helping my fantasy team, Donaldson going to go yard again here!

[Willihammer]

Molitor is managing the hell out of this game.

[USAFChief]

Just my opinion, but nobody hits a good pitch 400 ft.

It was a predictable FB, and caught too much plate.

[Pius Jefferson]

If the Blue Jays had a competent manager they'd win the AL East.

[ashbury]

Yay, here comes Timmy!!!

I didn't mean that in a totally sarcastic way. I meant that Stauffer couldn't have done worse, and if somebody had to get the loss, I'd rather have it go to him than Perk. But I liked the way it came across as sarcastic.

[Gene Larkin]

I'm sorry but I'm not happy for Collabello. After a hot first month, he was awful for the Twins. I'm betting he eventually reverts to that form with the Jays

[Puckett34]

Well color me surprised Stauffer.

concur.

Let him have his 15 minutes against somebody else.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Well color me surprised Staffer.

Can't seem to find that in the color wheel...

Is it a crayola color?

[Bark's Lounge]

It's a last ditch effort, and it may not work, but I do believe.

The Rally Roger has been raised.

[curt1965]

Now, if the Twins get a couple of guys on base, we can look forward to one of the sluggers to.....

what, not there?????

[ashbury]

I didn't mean that in a totally sarcastic way.

I took what you said and went a different way with it. Play on words, kinda sorta.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

*spits beer out mouth

[sampleSizeOfOne]

This is a character building game.

Let's see what we got...
