USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Perhaps the worst loss of the year.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Perhaps the worst loss of the year. The former Twin ripping the winning hit does add a touch of gall. I still wish we hadn't lost that lead to the Tigers that one time...

formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 All I heard early in the night was "the ball ain't carrying tonight"............Except when Donaldson hit it. And of course Chris. Question: Should I remove Josh from my All Star Ballot since he's evil, or should I leave him on since he was able to do good against the mighty Twins?

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 At least it was over quick, considering the rain delay. Hats off to Buehrle for the complete game, especially after that first.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Wow, Mark Buehrle. I wasn't sure if he'd make it out of the 1st inning. And then he goes NINE!
curt1965 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 The Jays have 4-5 guys that can legitimately hit the ball out of the park. We have at least a couple- but they are sitting at Rochester!
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 What one time? You know. That one time! When that one batter of theirs, hit that one ball, off of that one guy we had on the mound? That one time. I doubt I'll ever forget it.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 My conscience tells me not to like this.Don't. But when you get dressed and come to the park tomorrow, forget it ever happened.
Gene Larkin Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Perhaps the worst loss of the year.No that would be the April 29 game when the Twins blew a 4 run lead to the Tigers after Tim Stauffer started throwing batting practice and the Tigers slow running catcher hit an inside the park HR courtesy of Jordan Schafer's awful fielding in CF. Casey Fien was the hard luck losing pitcher and also got hurt. In fact I believe tonight was his first game back since then
formerly33 Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Don't.But when you get dressed and come to the park tomorrow, forget it ever happened. Ha. I wasn't talking about the game. I meant to quote Ash's post. You know, that one post. The one when he was quoting one of my posts. You know.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 Good night all! Alas, KC seems to have won. No matter, we can get back on the horse tomorrow...

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted May 30, 2015 Posted May 30, 2015 The Twins should have had this one, but there are no teams in MLB that we cannot say the same for. It's the nature of the beast. Would have, should have, could have - it didn't turn out the way we wanted. The boyz will brush off their jerseys tonight and take another turn in game number 2. Tomorrow, I hope we can start the process of eliminating Toronto from being a team that owns us. Lex Talionis for tomorrow's match-up!
