I'm just following on the gamecast, so I'm guessing the Twins keep hitting doubles and HR's and he makes them all stop at 1B.  Holding Mauer up at third was a dirty trick, too.

Now it needs to be legislation that actually helps people.

MLB needs a rule change that an inherited runner counts only half a run against the starting pitcher, if Blaine Boyer is the reliever. Hardly seems fair to assign it all to Milone.

That is a common mistake - Frankensense was not the herb that came back from the dead -- but rather the herb that brought the dead  herb to life, not the monster herb itself.

Okay, I can't believe I did this, but I found the origins. It was this thread and it was kind of a joint effort, but we were mostly kind of making fun of CB who complained (tongue in cheek) that no one was posting score updates when the game hadn't started yet.

The future is now for the Cubs. They may not make the playoffs this year, but those two studs will get valuable experience and get adjusted to the majors this year in preparation for next year. Not that I've counted them out this year at all, but it'll be exciting for the fans to see the future on the field.

I think the short story is CB is a legendary figure, similar to Santa Clause or the Easter Bunny that might have been based on a real person (or rabbit).  Now kids all around the world talk about Circus Boy updates during baseball season.  I know it is always hard on parents when their kids get to old to believe in Circus Boy but can only hope that if his spirit lives in their heart so will baseball.
