Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 We are now 2/9th of the way to our predicted score.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Tie game. Vargas just annihilated the baseball. Send him down, he didn't go opposite field on the previous pitch.
Shane Wahl Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Sometimes you see line drive homers. Usually they don't hit off the second deck.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 2-0 Royals. There were also two men on, so Milone really limited the damage there. (Sorry) Also, Robinson pulled a Robinson for a second and almost charged in too far again on a liner. He didn't have to jump this time though. What else would we expect from The Minimizer TM
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Vargas showed his power from the right side. So did poof.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 It certainly helps when we hit the long ball.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 When will we get a better center fielder than Shane Robinson? It seems like he is better than Schafer, though.
davidc3915 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 How do I make myself look busy so I can watch the Twins game on the computer and not get busted? Go Twins!!!
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 The Twins have a hard time defending the late steal.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Kennys strong like bull, right Natasha?
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Seriously that was a god damn laser. Kennys mad, Kennys hit ball hard. Where the hell did that s come from in his name?once he proved he had the strength greater than the next strongest Kenny. He was, from that moment on, as strong as Kennys
Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Vargas's knuckles drag on the ground as he drags his wooden club to the plate. Vargas hit ball 10 miles. Vargas returns to the corner of the dugout where he sits alone in a shadow. Twins team trainer throws chunk of raw steak to corner. Vargas happy.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Arcia and Gibson last night, Vargas today... when are the multi-millionaires going to start contributing?
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 We escape with only allowing one run, that is really good.
Dr. Evil Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Seriously that was a god damn laser. Kennys mad, Kennys hit ball hard. Where the hell did that s come from in his name?He is stronger than 2 guys named Kenny so they made his name plural.
Shane Wahl Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Hopefully the people in the left field bleachers were paying attention as Escobar chucked the ball into the stands after starting to run into the dugout. Good lord.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Hunter gets us right back in it!
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Arcia and Gibson last night, Vargas today... when are the multi-millionaires going to start contributing? I'm a multi-millionaire.* This thread is how I contribute. *in yen
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Dan Gladden said the Royals cheated on that play.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Tie game, with Hunter at second with 1 out. Santana had a single, Hunter a ground-rule double, and Mauer got the RBI with a ground out to Shortstop.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Tie game, with Hunter at second with 1 out.Santana had a single, Hunter a ground-rule double, and Mauer got the RBI with a ground out to Shortstop. showing how stupid the RBI stat is......who did more there, Hunter or Mauer, to contribute to the run? would be cool if Mauer got an XBH this year.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 another nice AB Plate Appearance from Dozier
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 showing how stupid the RBI stat is......who did more there, Hunter or Mauer, to contribute to the run? would be cool if Mauer got an XBH this year. Well Santana should have scored on Mauer's hit in the 1st....so it makes up for it.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Dang.....I really thought that was in gap. Great play by Cain
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Would be nice if Escobar could open it up here and really make that error hurt
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 In other news....NFL reinstates Peterson, effect Friday.
Kirby_waved_at_me Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Ah well - that error by the Royals didn't come back to haunt them - just one more reason they've been living a charmed existence of late...
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Tommy Milone is back to his Cy Young self.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Ah well - that error by the Royals didn't come back to haunt them - just one more reason they've been living a charmed existence of late... Not directly at least. But it's not entirely without effect. A few more pitches thrown, another batter comes up. If Twins win with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth, strictly speaking, that batter might not have come up without the error. But yeah, far enough away, ya can't blame it directly. We're doin' pretty good so far, ain't we?
