Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 What a snag KC! Web gem
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 LOL... Poor Correia... He could throw a perfect game and still get more negative comments from Twins Fans than positive. I'd be willing to see that happen. And would agree to shut up for his next game. I too think this is a worthwhile experiment. When should we schedule it? His last start before the all-star break? And you can put me down for at least one positive comment regarding Correia, and probably more for the Twins defense...
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 What terrific instincts by Correia in that grounder...now get Melky!
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Kevin Corriea. Really crappy but scrappy veteran pitcher.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I don't think KC is going to hold the Jays to 8 runs tonight, unless they take him out partway through the third. OK, had I known KC was going to start fielding like Brooks Robinson...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Trevor May's start in Gwinett tonight is being delayed by rain. That's peculiar...I wasn't aware it rained much in Gwinett in June.Atlanta yes... Gwinnett no.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 What kind of bear is TC Bear... Black Bears are not allowed into Medical School I believe. Brown Bear versus Board of Medical Education fixed that in 1954.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Correia's ERA is below 6. I'm going to hazard a guess that he won't finish the game there.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 That inning had "disaster" written all over it. Nice job getting out of the jam.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 What a snag KC! Web gem Three way swap: Santana to center, Hicks to the bullpen until ready for the rotation, and Correiazie to short...
big dog Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 What kind of bear is TC Bear... Black Bears are not allowed into Medical School I believe. No, in fact they are welcome to attend Baylor Medical School, even given preferential admission. http://www.baylor.edu/bear/index.php?id=18243
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Another Zero Hung by Correia.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Weather Forecast: I don't know... It's 100 percent Canadian and they suck at predicting the weather. Last time I went up to Winnipeg the forecast said 22. I brought a coat and it was a nice day. Let's just say they missed it by about 50 degrees. I complained to a native Canadian about it and he just shook his head and laughed. Clearly they have learned to laugh off such every day meteorological mistakes. You must have missed this sign coming in.......
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Kevin Corriea. Really crappy but scrappy veteran pitcher. His middle name is always 'Scrappy', but sometimes the S is silent. Not tonight, so far at least.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Three way swap: Santana to center, Hicks to the bullpen until ready for the rotation, and Correiazie to short... I would never put a shortstop in the outfield
Tibs Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 His middle name is always 'Scrappy', but sometimes the S is silent. Not tonight, so far at least.I thought his middle name is Danger?
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 This game has a really odd feel to it. Compare Cabrera's single off the wall to Escobar's double to the shortstop, for instance.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Another Zero Hung by Correia. Kevin Co-zero
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 You must have missed this sign coming in....... I thought it was a sign for how to dress for 10cc. I just figured Slacks and a dress shirt would be ok for that.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 You could almost see the dent in the score board on the FB
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 Scrappy Crappy would be an awesome nickname.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Man, even when he's not pitching, do Jack and Dick give Correia crap about how poorly he's pitching, in a thus far shut out game, no less. im not saying they're wrong, just cruel
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 That's all right, Joey will pick him up.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Another Zero Hung by Correia. Three more and he's an ace... http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/picture.php?albumid=23&pictureid=123
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Another Zero Hung by Correia. Is it considered taunting to let lots of base runners on only to strand them? (and i've always wondered if the runner doubled up in a double play is considered to be stranded for stat reasons, particularly to end an inning)
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Wouldn't it be sad to have the web gem and the DFA announcement in the same BBTN segment?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 How's he supposed to drive in runners when some jerk in front of him clears the bases? He gets a chance this time...
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 That's all right, Joey will pick him up. Should be easy...Escobar only weighs 175
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 Brunansky must get credit for fixing Escobar, Plouffe, Santana. But... He had to Break Joe to do it.
