LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Please no Corriea for the 7th Gardy. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/el3m2tigre/magic-8-ball-answer.png
howeda7 Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Louder next time. Sorry. I know Gardy's hearing isn't the best.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Gardy did the right thing there I think. I thought for sure he'd let Correia try to work out of it.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Would'be preferred not to send him out for the 7th, but at least it was one baserunner allowed and then gone, rather than one lead gone and then gone. I can live with that.

I can live with that. And if they lose by a run that happens to be the leadoff batter that Correia put on, it's on the bullpen, not Gardy or Sunshine.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Strikeout.......against a righty no less, hmmmm.

If you lose a lead late with your starter in, that's on the manager.

longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Toronto announcers with a great call. Where does this game go if Correia doesn't make that behind the back play with the bases loaded? Back then I thought it was just delaying the carnage. Now it looks like a game winner.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 You rang? After the two grannies Houston stroked the other night, my confidence is near zero, especially with only three outs to go.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 KC & Burton both take a step back from the cliff.
