The Twins kinda are the White Walkers today

 

"In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms, riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders big as hounds."

 

They actually sound like they could be a pretty formidable team. I know some people want more attitude - the Twins finding their inner-white walker might help create that.

Yeah, I have to wonder what being touched by a white walker could mean in the baseball world... Florimon suddenly being able to hit?

I have been calling for a new manager since last season, but in this case he can only pick from the available options. Of course, there is ample evidence he is at least partially responsible for the construction of the 25 man roster (3 catchers! I need 3 catchers!) So I'm less inclined to cut him complete slack here.

 

3 Catchers and 13 Pitchers, who a week ago all got a 3 day rest.....and are just coming off of 4 consecutive Quality Starts.....this is largely on Gardy.

I went to the Dr. today to get my head checked out. He said that my problem was watching the Twins. Apparently, looking at lineups like these the last few nights cause the same symptoms.

 

If you don't get better can I have your stuff?

5. Reminds me of a favorite friend's story. A pacifist vegetarian passing through a military industrial complex expo that reminds him of the future in terminator movies gets singled out by spokesman at a booth he passes. After enduring the spiel, the spokesman asked if my friend wanted to hear more about the fancy robot. My friend politely responds "No thanks, i helped make that robot." Needless to say, that friend has some really cool stories. -- But that wasn't my initial response... I was going to comment, if they were really military experts, they would have responded "the single country on this planet will have armed drones." And i woulda thought to myself, i gotta get me a new planet! Or at least a really nice decked out self sufficient bunker...

Baby steps... Batting Dozier first all season long was due to months of occupational therapy this offseason.
