I hear ya. It was a party of 6, but it was the first time I've been with all my kids since the holidays.

The salad bar is really nice. It's too bad they haven't discovered the chilled plate concept. The coolest plate I could find was about 100 degrees.

Dropped a routine fly ball that would have ended the game. Next hitter lines a single to right, of course, bringing Markakis up as the tying run. Perk blew him away on 4 pitches.

I heard somewhere that he makes $23 million a year. If true, this would have some bearing on back spasms.

 

Has anyone else noticed that, if someone is hard of hearing, "bilateral" sounds like "live batter drill" and "back spasms" sounds like "back at 'em"? Do you think everything we've "heard" could have been a misunderstanding?

I haven't been too many places but been to Chicago a few times and always have a good time. Why do Illinoisians hate IL so much?

Having lived in IL, here's my take: Very corrupt, high taxes for low return (compared to MN where the taxes are higher but the return is pretty good) big disparity between rich and poor, and there's not much by way of social welfare for those who are on the poor side of the coin. Everything in IL happens in Chicago.
