mhanson93 Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Wow, I know a weak hitting Florimon was due up to kill the rallly, but com'n Vavra...
Chance Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Thought Correia could have went one more....
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I understand that he is trying to do that, but Joe Mauer isn't Jason Kubel when it comes to hitting left handed pitching. I was just kidding. Going by the book "explains" every mistake in judgement.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Thought Correia could have went one more.... The human rain delay in New York fixed that. Still, the QS.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Thought Correia could have went one more.... Assures the QS for Correia. (And for Joe A Preusser. ) / edit - beaten to the punch, but I'll still leave in the shoutout to Joe

Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Looks like a tough ticket at the Cell.
zchrz Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Damn the drunk fans yelling are ridiculous lol.
Chance Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Assures the QS for Correia. (And for Joe A Preusser. )Ah! Well The Lord knows we could use a few more of those this season!
zchrz Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 More Mauer ear muffs is an unexpected consequence of the move.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Looks like a tough ticket at the Cell. Not difficult to acquire a ticket. But try to hold onto it in the cold and it will fly out of your numb fingers.
SweetOne69 Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Thought Correia could have went one more.... Pitch count wise he could've, but between the offense, the pitching changes and the long review he was sitting for a long time so Gardy decided not to send him back out.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Next up we get Eaton Semien Post of the year.
Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hope the bullpen doesn't blow the save. I stand corrected.
Tibs Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hard to believe the attendance is 10,625
kydoty Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hard to believe the attendance is 10,625 Actual attendance is easily less than half that.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Hard to believe the attendance is 10,625 Tickets sold != butts in seats?
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Depending on how Fien is walking Tonkin may stick around a bit.
zchrz Provisional Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I think the guy just yelled this guy Mauer, wheres the power, he likes flowers....
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Next up we get Eaton Semien I'm not watching this on TV but I would love to hear that come out of Dick's mouth.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Uh huh, Burton scares me, good thing no one was on. But now I'll be even more afraid of Perkins. Might have to take a little walk.
kydoty Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Fun fact: If Adam Dunn can last about four more seasons, he'll have a good chance of surpassing Ernie Banks as having played the most MLB games without ever appearing in the postseason.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Depending on how Fien is walking Tonkin may stick around a bit. If Burton keeps that up, Tonkin may stick around a bit.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Next up we get Eaton Semien I'm not watching this on TV but I would love to hear that come out of Dick's mouth. The quote chain that just keeps on giving.
Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 If Burton keeps that up, Tonkin may stick around a bit. I've wanted Tonkin to have that role for the last few weeks. Burton is on and off. I really thought they might trade him. And I was really against extending Perkins for fear of him losing the edge.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Weather doesn't look like it'll be much better tomorrow .... with possibility of showers. Chicago has been about 18 hours behind us on weather the last few days (as if it moving straight across) and it's been cool, gloomy and windy. So pretty much cr*ppy in Chicago tomorrow and the forecast for Cleveland doesn't look great either although it is supposed to be in the low 60's there on Friday but 40's Saturday and Sunday.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 And I was really against extending Perkins for fear of him losing the edge. These guys have a lot of professional pride. And the coaching staff can tell when effort is only 98% instead of 100. A humorous comment at the right moment from a teammate or a coach would be all that was necessary to get a good guy like Glen's attention.
