    I don't think anyone truly hates Mauer, I think that they are just disappointed that with his size and strength that he wasn't a perennial 20+HR hitter for his career.

    Reed only pitched 1 inning so he is definitely available for an inning today. With the day off tomorrow he could even be available for 2 innings today.

    I mentioned this in another thread, it isn't just the bunt that upset the Twins' players. The bunt was the 2nd of 2 contradictory actions that Baltimore committed in the 9th inning. In the top of the 9th, LaMarre got a 2 out hit. Baltimore elected to not hold the runner on implying that they are going to just play Defense and you better not steal with a 7-0 lead. Then in the bottom of the inning they bunt against the shift. What upset the players was that we were expected to NOT take advantage of their defensive positioning by not stealing 2nd base and they immediately took advantage of our defensive positioning by bunting to beat the shift in the same inning.

    Dozier clarified (and what most are missing) that the reason they were upset with the bunt was what happened in the top of the 9th inning. LaMarre got a 2 out hit in the top of the 9th. They elected to not hold the runner on signalling that they had conceded and we were not to steal 2nd since we were up 7-0. Then they go and bunt for a hit against the shift. It is the 2 contradictory actions that Baltimore employed in the 9th inning that upset the players. It wasn't the bunt itself.

    One thing to note, if your OTT subscriber doesn't carry FSN+ you won't be able to stream it on FSGo even if it recognizes your subscriber. I verified this with PSVue, but assume it is the same with the other OTT Services as well.

    This is not exactly true, as an arbitration eligible player his contract doesn't become guaranteed until Opening Day. There are 2 dates available during spring training where they can release an arbitration eligible player and only pay a portion of his salary (I believe if you release by the 1st date it is 45 days pay and the 2nd date is 90 days).

    I believe the answer is $0. He is signed to a Major league contract so he will make that no matter what.

    Twins still have to remove 2 players from the 25 man roster. Granite is probably 1.

    Maybe it has something to do with the "B12 cocktail" that the trainer's supply in the Dominican, and not the race of the player. As I recall, it is not just Dominicans being busted. Non-Dominican who have played in the DR winter league have also been busted.

    The fact that Vargas was Dead, the answer is yes. You only DAD a player when you need an immediate spot on the 40 man roster.

    There are 2 sides to every contract. The team agrees to pay a player's salary and the player agrees to play to the best of his ability. Fielder is unable to do so. Also, Fielder knows that he is exploiting a loophole in the system by refusing to file his retirement papers with the league. Eventhough he hasn't played since 2016, he won't be eligible for HOF consideration until 2025 (5 years after he officially retires in 2020).
