    What held up his promotion were elbow and knee surgery back to back not the twins. His coming up when he did was surprisingly fast IMO especially in light of the twins track record.

    I'm glad were seeing some changes to the way they do things such as a relatively quick hook out of the rotation for Hughes. That being said the guy is owed a ridiculous amount of money and if they actually did the right thing and cut bait i would be shocked, but super happy. Maybe then Molitor would have another option out of the pen, because yes the way he is riding Pressly is not sustainable.     Really like these new reports. I do have a suggestion for the top twenty. Add cumulative stats for the year so you can see what they did for the day and be reminded of where they sit overall.

    I can see Dozier really proving it this year. He's proven he doesn't wear down and with three homers maybe he's not always going to start slow. Cha ching. One note. If your going to always quote baseball's unwritten rules of yore you might want to consider context. Maybe it's ok to bunt in a situation like the other night if the team your facing is deploying a massive shift

    Well here we go again. Guess I'm a Gibroni all over again. I've been waiting for Gibby's talent to take over for years. Every year I'm all in. I do think it's been the mental aspect all along, which seasoning could improve. Personally I give credit to the new front office. Many eyebrows were raised when he was sent down last year. Just might have been the kind of strong message he needed.

    This is a great article. It's amazing to me the amount of data now available ( and maybe even to the twins now ). I wonder how much time must go into these articles? All you have to do is look at my golf swing to realize how hard it must be to put this info into practice.

    This is definitely a bummer but look at it this way, the first half last year Polanco was abominable at the plate and below average in the field. I think a combo of Adrianza/Eddy can exceed that as we bide our time

    Weren't people worried about berrios in AA too long? Then he was arguably brought up too soon and struggled mightily. Some have said that a guy with a lesser make up might have been ruined. Who knows? I don't think anybody can say for sure yet this FO is slow with anything. Romero's going to get his chance, maybe this year, I hope he's ready. One thing I would wager is he will struggle some when he gets the call and he isn't someone who should or could be counted on to help in a pennant race this year.

    In many parts of the world bargaining is SOP. Here not so much. I have noticed some get offended with lowball offers. I say it's business, a starting point. Anyway if you have zero faith I the rotation this year must have been less than zero last year . Mejia is young and lost 16lbs to drop in to the 260's! That's progress.
