    To be clear, I never compared the trades. My point is that MLB prospecting is a crapshoot. We simply have no idea what we acquired, 15 pages of comments notwithstanding.

    At the time it seemed Berrios wanted to test the waters and wasn't that interested in signing with the Twins. Whereas players like Buxton and Pablo made it very clear they wanted to be here. When Berrios was interviewed after arriving in Toronto, he mentioned how much he liked the diversity of that city, one of the most diverse cities anywhere with people from all over the globe. This may be true and likely something you are not considering; what Berrios wanted. There may be other factors. He may not have liked the way his service time was handled, for example. I'd rather have Pablo and his contract than Berrios and his contract anyway. The way Pablo arrived in Santana's jersey, determined, for his amazing playoff performance 2 years ago was impressive. I don't think the playoff streak would be over with Berrios instead of Pablo. The Twins were never going to carry both contracts.

    I think it's perfectly natural, especially considering Gasper already got some run, is undersized and underwhelmed. McCrusher hasn't failed in MLB yet and you gotta admit, the size, speed and power potential are intriguing.

    The thing that is encouraging for Buxton's career during his 30's is the plica diagnosis and surgery. A problematic plica is, or has been, tough to diagnose. It is confused with patella tendinitis or just soft tissue degeneration. Soft tissue degeneration, or damage to the meniscus, is pretty much irreversible. The silver lining in the years Buxton's knee was misdiagnosed is that maybe there is no soft tissue damage. Or little damage. If so, the plica surgery is usually a very successful surgery, If the knee has little soft tissue damage, we may witness this kind of athleticism for years to come.

    Dang if Jax had been perfect, we'd likely be 10-10. Didn't he go through a similar rough patch last year? Or I'm guessing every year. Griff's work ethic and track record suggest he'll bounce back. I'd wager we won't have to wait long.

    Hello all! Returning from exile and ready for some baseball. Just started this game on the new app and it looks like an improvement over Ballys. $100 for the year is reasonable IMO. Every game can be accessed on demand. Muy bueno
