    Yes, I don't want to quote the entire article but Sonny goes on to offer up that he tried to work a deal with the Twins, and that they were upfront with him relaying that their budget wouldn't afford him. Then the qualifying offer was placed.

    That's cheap. Do you get a DVR to record the games or do you have to watch them live?

    It took some finagling, but thanks to the network of the 3 kids under this roof, we were able to obtain the necessary Apple ID and password to watch this disappointing game. I did do the 3 month trial early in the season, but when it came time to cancel I had problems. Since I don't use any Apple products, even after following prompts and downloading Apple apps, I was unable to cancel my trial membership resulting in a $10 charge. As a final resort I used my excellent Chase Visa to dispute the charge getting it waved. This is getting pretty ridiculous. Here is hoping that next year there will be an option for á la carte streaming to watch ALL the Twins games! $250 a year? The very crappy Fubo costs me $100 a month or about $700 for the season. $250 sounds like a bargain. Let's do it!

    You've got Brandon Winokur and Payton Eales. Help Wanted, baseball, all body types apply within, lol. That is one thing I like about baseball. Anyone can find a place, but it is hard not to be excited about these big bodies. They seem to think Soto can handle a workload, might be a fast riser for a highschool pitcher.

    I like Baldelli overall, but calling me a "defender" doesn't sit well with me. At all. There are times I disagree with one of his moves, but I'm reluctant to post about it for 2 reasons. 1. I don't like to complain, maybe I'm a stoic, lol. 2. There is well more than enough Baldelli bashing around here so I don't want to add to it. Simple as that.

    I can't remember, but when we were losing 90+ games in 5 of 6 seasons under Gardy, did he get a ton of flack? I don't think so. I don't get it. Baldelli has one of the best winning percentages in franchise history. Baldelli was the far superior ballplayer. It's got to be the quirky, Phish fan, hippy?, East Coast guy vs the Bud Light swilling Everyman from Ole Oklahoma phenomenon. 😂 Edit maybe one of those 90 loss seasons was under Molly, but I'm to lazy to look.

    I think it is you who is not paying attention. This is what I said a few posts earlier; The Pohlad's are not signing enormous free agent contracts for pitching, but they will part with other assets. So again you are wasting your time complaining about it. Barrios has been mediocre anyway and they got more value in return. SWR is going to give them 6 years of quality cost controlled pitching, plus whatever Martin can provide. At this point now you have me repeating myself so we're at an impass. Fair enough I don't need to change your mind.

    The Twins drafting and player development is so much better than what I am used to as a long suffering Twins fan. Due to this they are moving players more aggressively than in the past. It has to change the way we talk about them. This is definitely more fun than it used to be.

    The Pohlad's were not doing that anyway so it is a waste of time to lament it. They got the cheaper deal with Pablo, that is what they are looking for. Now we have a 23 year old starter for the rest of this year and 5 more years at team friendly prices. That is 6 years of Sim for 1.4 years of Barrios. 6 years of Austin Martin too. I don't know what there is to complain about with this.

    The problem I have with all this is every team is going to lose at least 50 games. You can't live and die with each one. At least I can't anyway. I wanted the sweep bad. I want to put the Spiders behind us. Didn't happen gotta let go

    So with an average manager the Twins win 110 games this year. Holy shite you are much more of an optimist than I realized, lol.

    That is your opinion and I disagree. You said earlier that Rocco will cost the team 15 wins this year. I just think that is ridiculous.

    Didn't the Twins maneuver to keep Kirilloff's last option intact? If so that speaks volumes and they consider him relatively reasonably priced depth for next year.
