  1. Two hit night the best medicine for a slumping rookie
  2. Nice seeing Wallner get a swing at a lefty
  3. Pretty hilarious, on that throw to 1st out of the corner of Colt Keith's eye the ump looked like a teammate with those uniforms.
  4. Yeah Pablo missed his spot on that one
  5. If you hit the ball far enough, it starts looking pretty small
  6. Feeling down after another depressing game thread asking yourself, why am I so depressed, they won? You slowly, almost by habit, click the Twins Daily unread button to see what's new. A minor league report, well those are always filled with hope, you reassure yourself. Then you notice it was penned by Seth "This kid looks like a star" Stohs. Yes! This is just what I need, you say, manna from heaven!
  7. Interesting. That does not surprise me about Thielbar this year, but that was his specialty at his best. In the past. The Twins really miss that this year as your numbers suggest. Hopefully Alcala can keep it up and Stewart can finish out healthy. Limiting runs in the set up role takes pressure off the closers and maybe helps you avoid the Manfred Man and crushing defeats, lol
  8. Excellent post, I thought the article overstated Sand's contributions. His numbers look good but he has allowed many inherited runners to score, which is not reflected by the numbers. With that being said he has been better and is a valuable piece. I hope he keeps improving.
  9. I just give up on predicting what will happen. This past off-season I said Julien was the least likely of last year's rookie class to regress. WRONG. More recently I was finally ready to give up on Louie Varland as a starter. Now look at what he is up to. Better to just let it all unfold as a passive observer, lol.
  10. Okert will be the opener tonight with Festa following and providing the bulk innings role, per Dan Hayes.
  11. I thought Wheeler was on some kinda pitch count?
  12. Wallner just needs to swap the 9.0 driver for the 10.5
  13. Seems they are protecting him this year, next year for sure he gets another inning.
