  1. I think Alex Kirilloff can become the Minnesota Twins version of "Kirill the Thrill." I look for a breakout season from Alex at the plate.
  2. The video is so awesome, I think it's so special for these guys to be able to get together play.
  3. Pitcher Willie Banks is a BIG one for me along with 1B David McCarty. Banks was suppose to be a sure thing and McCarty the heir apparent to Kent Hrbek.
  4. With so many question marks regarding Minnesota's starting rotation, I think it would be prudent for the Twins to keep all options (including Jax as an opener) on the table.
  5. A very good read, however, Gilberto Celestino on the list of assets, but not Miguel Sano? I view Celestino as a fringe 4th MLB outfielder at best. Kepler at #9 seems a bit high, especially coming off of back-to-back disappointing seasons. Kepler has the advantage defensively, but Sano bested Kepler in R, 2B, HR, RBI, and BA last season. IMO Sano should be on the list.
  6. Such a wonderful read and a delightful stroll down memory lane.
  7. Hopefully the baseball off season will change from a "Silent Night" to Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" soon. Merry Christmas TD!
  8. Thank you Twins Daily staff, you are definitely on the Nice List too. My first source every morning for the latest news on my favorite team. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you TD!
  9. Enjoying the list, bringing back some great memories. Thank you.
  10. I am thankful for my favorite local team, the Minnesota Twins, who like family I may not always agree with, but still love dearly. I am thankful for Twins Daily and staff, for the best coverage of my favorite team, and the first place I go to read about them every morning.
  11. Oh i love this on sooooooo many levels. Sign him Twins!
  12. If not for blowing out his knee, Tony Oliva's total career numbers would be even more impressive. Tony O for the HOF!
  13. Growing up in SD, it was always reassuring knowing we were going to be able to watch a game when The Dome was around, no rain outs. For TwinsFest, I loved the way so many dealers were spread out on the floor of The Dome. Great memories, that being said, I love Target Field as well.
  14. We've seen this before from Eddie Rosario, a hot streak where he can carry a team for a week or two. Doesn't matter whether the pitch is a strike or not, he's zoned in. I miss Eddie and I'm happy for him and the Braves.
  15. A great story and one of only a few pitching additions by the twins front office that was not a swing and miss.
  16. I will be cheering for Smeltzer wherever he continues his career, such a good story, agree that it may be time to move on. I thought Garlick might stick early in the season until Refsnyder came on the scene. We have so many corner outfielders.
  17. Kepler is another former hot young prospect who now can't hit their weight.
  18. Don't worry about the lack of pitcher promotions, Austudillo will be back with the Twins soon LOL (hopefully won't be needed in that capacity.) Awesome job covering life down on the farm, a must read each day on Twins Daily.
  19. Way too early to abandon ship and hit the panic button IMO.
  20. My favorite read every morning with my cup of coffee, finding out how "The Kids" did in the minors for the Minnesota Twins. So good to have this feature back, thank you Twins Daily.
  21. Wow, in 2021 I'm amazed that that some "fans" are surprised Berrios was done after 84 pitches and 6 innings. Have you not been watching MLB the past decade? To quote Sergeant Hulka from the movie Stripes, "Lighten up Francis." Nice game Jose.
  22. Fielding 101 for Colome', know the score and get the out at first base! Kepler should have been given an error for the drop, the ball hit him right in the glove. Simmons with the error at SS on what should have been a sure out. Very spring training-like defense.
  23. Jake Cave is a nice guy who's had a pretty good run with the Twins as a 4th outfielder. With the OF talent waiting behind him, I think this is his swan song with the team.
  24. Really??? Let's not blow it folks and do something stupid. 25% is a good start, and I know that while I won't get to nearly as many games, to be back at Target Field for even a few is something I'm looking forward to.
