    I've enjoyed sections 104-108 along the firstbase line, in the middle rows. The firstbase box seats are a special treat for games with my wife, family, and friends. I sat downb in section 111 for my first game this year on April 22, and those seats were really nice. Pizza Luce is a frequent stop before a Twins game.

    Stats aside, through the eye test I see growth in Larnach with more of his swings going to left-center and centerfield, I would like to see Max Kepler do that with more frequency too (he had a hit there on Saturday I believe.)

    As a teacher, you mark down the grade that the student earned in your grade book, based how much they were able to show they learned about the subject/standard you were teaching. That's what makes this so tough to grade. We will not see the final results that the signings/trades "earned" until the season is over. The best we can do at this moment is speculate. I think Ted's B+ speculation is on the optomistic side (great summary by the way), but not far off from what the final grade "earned" will be. I'm going with a slightly more conservative grade of B. Go Twins!

    I find myself "emboldened" going into the 2022 season. I am emboldened by the signing of Carlos Correa, and the way the front office pulled it off, especially outmaneuvering the dreaded NY Yankees in the process. I'm emboldened that Miguel Sano will make a new 40/40 club popular to Twins fans - the 40 HR & .240 batting average club - I think we'd be satisfied with that from him. I am embolded that not one, but multiple young pitching arms will step up and contribute substantially this season - Joe Ryan, Josh Winder, Bailey Ober, just to name a few (there are more waiting in the wings - Duran, Balazovich, Woods-Richardson.) I'm emboldened that Alex Kirilloff will become the Minnesota Twins version of "Kirill the Thrill" (of MN Wild fame) and offer up weekly highlights as he plays his way towards 500+ ABs, a .300 BA, and 20+ HRs. I am emboldened that "intrigued" above inspired me to dream, ask "What if?", and write these comments.

    I have just one question..can he pitch? The starting line-up looks impressive, but unless some reliable, proven, competent starting pitching is on the mound, gonna come up on the short end of a lot of 8 - 4, 7 - 3, 10 - 5 games. I like the aggressiveness (no more cheapstake talk), now we just need another starting arm or two.

    Not resigning Simmons is our best free agency move (or non-move?) to date.

    One of the big reasons I like baseball is because it is NOT driven by a clock. I love baseball because it's not like football, basketball, and hockey. I like not being rushed through a game.

    At the last TwinsFest, I was walking through the Twins lockerroom, which had been broken down into segments, each featuring a different decade of Minnesota Twins baseball (a brilliant idea from Clyde Deopner no doubt.) I was talked about the Soul Patrol as we came around the corner to the decade of the 2000s, when we heard a voice say, "It was Matt Lawton who came up with the idea for the Soul Patrol." We turned around and there was Jacque Jones sitting on the couch in the period room. He stood up and came over and talked to us about how it was Matt Lawton who came up with the idea and how he was part of first Soul Patrol, with Shannon Stewart part of Soul Patrol 2.0. He shared stories with us for about another 5 minutes before a nother crowd of people behind us froced us to move on. What a treat that day!

    Refreshing to hear some news from spring training, even if it is not MLB players. Hopefully that will change very shortly, until then let's hear about these kids and prospects.
