    Oh, goodness gracious me... Burch Smith? Isn't he of the Hamptons Smith's, the boy who went to Exeter Academy with RFK's grandson? Another member of the KC chapter of theOmegas- along with Whit Merrifield, Cheslor Cuthbert, and I suppose we could add Hunter Dozier....

    I can ditto a lot of that, especially with the Mystery of LaMarre. Whyohwhyohwhyohwhy is Grossman still in the lineup nearly every day, and not producing? There have been multiple opportunities with LHP on the mound that LaMarre could have taken instead, but now he's back down in Roch, and Cave is up? Come on, I mean, just... come on, man!

    Lance Lynn is not the only one doubting Lance Lynn. I'm on that bandwagon, too, and I was one of the biggest cheerleaders early on for getting this guy. Now, I'm getting awfully close to forgetting this guy.

    Yeh, I remember being perilously close to being enraged when the Pelf/May decision came down. I really do think it led to the troubles May has had since, and well, we all know the troubles Pelf gave the Twins...

    Why is Bobby Baby behind the plate today? Is he Jose's personal catcher? Or is Molly not noticing the difference between BA's of nearly 200 points difference, with a team that's struggling to score runs right now? Nothing against Bobby, I dig the guy. I just kind of want my team to win sometimes.

    Probably a big surprise, too. I 'spose they don't talk about stuff like pickoff moves during a pre-game meeting or anything, do they? Major leaguers. Heh... reminds me of my daze playing old-man ball in LA. I was coaching first one time, runner on- who happened to be a bass player in a band, and was deaf in one ear from standing next to the speakers (probably up to 11). Lefty on the mound. "Stay close to the bag, and watch his move," I says. He turns to me, still standing off the base, so he can hear what I just said in his good ear. "Huh?" Whap! Fired a strike to the 1st baseman, who tagged him in the chest as he stood there, head turned away from the field. Was Adrianza's anything like that?
