Accurate comment as he's 7-19 (.368) with 2 HRs......but would ask if the majority of those hits came in Kepler's fraud of a season in 2019?
Perhaps. But if he's going to play, this is a game that he needs to be starting. A RHP that he has had success against.
I understand your "frustration" with losing Arraez. I feel the same way, but Lopez looked really good. The rotation could be really good for the first time ever (at least in recent memory)
Was anybody else waiting to see Pagan come in for save in 9th inning? Saving him for the Cleveland series, I suppose. Just kidding! Let's hear it for our first place Twins!
Re: Wisler
Thank you for clarifying. I couldn't remember the particulars. I do remember they declined to offer him arbitration the second year, which was kind of surprising.
It was pretty obvious last year that Gilberto needed more time at St. Paul. Having Taylor gives Celestino the AAA reps he needs to become a useful MLB player.
I swear, I thought this was a Randball Stu sattire piece until I got about half-way through. Then I checked the by-line. Sorry, Randball- you blew this chance.
I hope that's true! Thank you, Melissa, for a very enjoyable article! I was at the Brewers rain game. Long night, but got to hang out with some really fun and knowledgeable Twins and Brewers fans while taking cover from the storms.
Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is so amazing. Don't miss it! Jazz museum is really good - get the two-Fer ticket. Arthur Bryant's is also a must. WWI Museum is tremendous! The live jazz at night is just amazing - many clubs have live jazz. At the K - great fans, very knowledgeable! Everyone is super - friendly to twins fans. I love KC.
