  1. Cool of the Evening by Jim Thielman. The 1965 Twins. Fantastic read.
  2. I didn't realize the Rockies had a payroll that large last year. Who the heck are they paying?
  3. "She has stunning haunches and a great attitude." This sounds a lot like my wife. Maybe she is 5th starter material??????
  4. I think we need to dial back the criticism of Larnach. He is fighting for a job on MLB 26-man roster. Joey Gallo's production must be replaced by somebody!
  5. Am I out of line to think Festa is a mid-rotation starter in MLB if everything goes well and Raya may be a really good setup guy out of the bullpen?
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those relief arms is included in a trade for a right-handed Outfield bat
  7. I have coached athletes that have had the Plica surgery. Pretty straightforward stuff. Pretty high success rate with alleviating patellar pain. What that means for buck? I guess we'll find out.
  8. Upon further review, both J.A. Happy and Matt Shoemaker achieved -1.8 bWAR in 2021, but in fewer games pitched than Pacella. We'll done, gentlemen!
  9. I didn't catch which WAR you were using, but John Pacella needs to be recognized for his -1.8 bWAR in 21 games in 1982. That's quite an accomplishment.
  10. Maybe the Twins meant to claim the "wrong" Ryan Jensen. Is the wrong Ryan Jensen any good?
  11. The right fielder on Wallner's line drive looked a lot like Charlie Brown.
  12. Please - Joe Mauer, a Hall of Famer? He's no Harrold Baines!
  13. Maybe the Dodgers will offer Miguel a $300 million contract
  14. I had no idea that this system existed. Thank you for your excellent article and congratulations to the six players
  15. If the Pagan 2 year/$16M contract is any indication of what the reliever market looks like this off-season, don't expect a Twins bullpen move of any significance.
  16. If Buck could give the Twins even a half season in CF - say 80 games, playing 3 times a week. Plus another 20 or 30 games at DH. Imagine how much that would change the complexion of team.
  17. If they need to clear another spot on the 40 Man roster they can always DFA a Cole Sands type. There isn't anything too exciting on this list though
  18. Great article. It's fun having a good pitching staff for a change.
  19. Hilariously spot on. It was great to see Joe Ryan weigh in on the topic.
  20. I think you had stretches were different players have carried the team for a period of time
  21. "It’s got 2-3 too many guys…..hoping for 7 man Pen in Playoffs……certainly a max of 8." - JD-TWINS Well, a 3 game playoff series is 3 starters. I would be shocked if they carry fewer than 13 pitchers. They certainly won't go with a 10 man staff, as your math suggests.
  22. How does this bullpen sound for the playoffs? Duran, Jax, Thielbar, Pagan, Variland, Ober, Ryan, Floro, Keuchel, Winder
  23. Perhaps it's time to lace up the "hittin' shoes"
