  1. If Castro isn’t worth 3 years extension; who do think on the Twins roster is worth a 3 years extension?
  2. I to want wish Kerriloff well; but it may indicate there is another problem of (communication fear) with the players not wanting to talk to the manager who should talk to thegeneral manager.
  3. The Pohlads are bankers which are considerably different from a businessman. They don’t even compare closely.
  4. You people who know so much Correa and his health of his feet (called PF). This condition is is a much more severe and can last over several years or never cured totally.. Albert Plohoz has been affected with (PF) for several years. I have had experience dealing with (PF) for several years and it’s very painful and affect other parts of the nerve system too. I am proud of Correa playing as well as he does.
  5. Amen, Amen! The ownership have not played by there standards as they cut payroll drastically but have added another member to the top rung position by the name Pohlad to be to Mr. St. Peter’s co -pilot. They run the Twins like it’s a hobby project!
  6. Questions, questions, questions; How many #1 drafts picks from each individual draft year never make to the MLB? How many years does it take a #1draft pick to make it to the MLB? For pitchers? For the other eight positions? Now do that for each round 2 through the 20th round? What’s the average tenure yeas of starting pitcher, relief pitcher? and each of the eight positions? What’s the average tenure time for the draftees from the same year? There are several other important questions to be answered before a valid decision can be made. I for one thinks the FO is doing a good job! The conditions that ownership has put the FO through. That does put me into a quandary? Their record of owning the Twins for over 40 years doesn’t even approach a 50 percent level and that’s not saying much.
  7. Pohlads don’t have a winning for the duration of the time the Pohlads have owned the Twins! At one time MLB was serious about moving the Twins. If the it wasn’t for Bud Selig the owner of the Milwaukee came to the aid of the Twins and saved them.
  8. I for making a trade but I would be aiming for a better plum or plums. I think the Twins can better players at just a tad more than suggested in trading with Boston. The Twins should consider Mariners for Trevor Rodgers and Nandi or Scott or Bender and Chisholm.Rodgers appears to be on the road to recovery from a tremendous emotional down in 2022 from the loss of several immediate family members within a few weeks. From that low point of life and his career low, Rodgers, seems to have recovered part way to full recovery. He is young, several years of team control and a former 1st round draft choice. His stats seem to point to better days ahead. Nardi has good stats, young, several years of team control, Bender is has decent stats on his recovery from TJ surgery, and good stats before TJ surgery, young, several years of team . Scott is a rental player, a proven veteran left handed reliever. Big question is? Resigning him will cost how many $$$$. Chisholm has some team control, reasonably price, with some power & reasonable b/a can play outfield &/or infield. He occasionally may lose control. This trade I am willing to trade Gonzalez, Andrade & Rosario & Julien. Or a trade with the Angels for either Miller or Erceg both young relievers, years of control, hard throwers. They may cost a premium but are worth it. The Twins may trade prospects Rosario & Andrade. As for the 2025 budget the Twins should be over $30 million less than the 2024 budget to start. After arbitration pay raises there should be enough for FA & trades and keep ownership at bay. It’s about time the ownership accepts responsibility for the TV & radio, streaming debacle and haven’t set up a concrete date deal yet. The ownership hasn’t taken responsibly for it and blame the players & front office and fans.
  9. Vasquez is about as good as Maldonado?
  10. I’ve thought about many potential trade partners like the Marlins, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Astros, Mariners, Padres, CWS. I was rather surprised as the best trading partner, because this team is has started rebuilding and is talking about who they are willing to move. There history seems they are reasonable price and furthermore they appear to be in the area of cost that should indices the desires of the Twins price to pay. There seems to be a common taboo that both the seller and buyer have settle before any trade talks can begin because it is within the ALC- Central Division. The CWS part with Roberts who is controlled for 2025-26 seasons, age 27 outfielder . He has power and a decent glove, with some speed. He has short history of injuries. Second player Crocket age 30 RSP who seems be having a good year with team control for several years at mlb base minimum salary who’s age is 30. The Twins offer #5 prospect Gonzalez, #12 prospect Rosario, #16 DeAndrade, and either Kirilloff or Larnach. The Twins have 2 prospect outfielders who are rated #1 & #3. DeAndrade is a glove type player, Rosario is good player with decent ability. Kirilloff & Larnach are in group of players are similar but the Twins are overloaded with. This trade with CWS is certainly worth overriding the Taboo.
  11. Let’s put the Twins money problems on who created the problem upper management not the players or the front office. Upper management is solely responsible.
  12. Dam if you do, dam if you don’t! There are valid reasons for both sides of this predicament. However, time was not called so the game was still was active. I stand behind Max as the game rules were still active. I think this is a form of trying to shame Max .
  13. It sounds like TD has several candidates to be GM prospects for the big clubs.
  14. The owners are not in the business of entertainment and thier business is banking. There is a big difference between the banking and entertainment sectors .
  15. Max deserves to be on the roster because he has earned by producing and knowing how to pitch. I admire Jax because he trying to improve himself and Driveline has an excellent reputation. Driveline has a big following of pro’s. That’s why we play the game!
  16. If Brooks Lee produces in spring training, then, why shouldn’t he make the big roster going north? He would improve the lineup defensively with him at 2nd and Julien at 1st base or DH. He has potential as a good lead off hitter. I’m proud to be a Brooks fan and supporter.
  17. That’s why they play the game. The started with a goal of $125-140 million budget at this time. I may not agree with ownership’s decision to to cut the 23 budget by 10-20%. But I respect ownership’s decision. The FO did a good job assembling this team for24.
  18. How tall was Warren Span? Rays reminds as a right version of Span. I believe that arm injuries start before pitchers reach college level and before starting their pro careers. Arm injuries in the pro’s may be the result of bad training long before reaching the pro’s. I appreciate the Twins FO process of handling young pitchers.
  19. Two bigger questions; (1) how long will Buxton be a serviceable cf ? (2) many years from 2024 to when Jenkins, or Rodriguez will be installed as cf? Therefore, will it 1, 2 or 3 years? Answer to these questions will determine which player the Twins need to sign. Solar may have problems, while, Duvall’s age is a big problem. Bellinger may not fit the 2024 budget. Maybe MAT needs to be resigned.
  20. I don’t want to give-up Schobel & Rosario this year.
  21. Lewis is on my untouchable Twins list. I like Lozard(Marlins), Gilbert (Mariners), Burnes (Brewers). I am ok with the Twins if they traded Julien, Polanco and 2 high prospects Rodriquez & DeAndrate. It seems like a big price to pay. However, this maybe the market price at this time. On the Twins side I believe we can trade these players and replace them with prospect Lee and other high prospects.
  22. There are several other factors why the Twins may use E. Rodriquez because their is a stock pile of CF prospects such as Jenkins. The same for Lee & Julien as who should be traded and who should be kept. It’s do you want a potential 300+ hitter with a better glove skills or a 265-240 hitter with some power and lesser glove skills. I prefer Lee over Julien. The type of starting pitcher the Twins & fans want will most likely require going over market value by 10-25% or more. Lozard and Gilbert are going to expensive but are well worth it. The Twins would have to meet the price by offering Julien, Rodriquez, Polanco & a ptbnl.
  23. Dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t, when comparing Lee. Vs. Julien. One thing I have seen written about Julien is he has the “sophomore jinx” year ahead of him. Will it have an effect on him? Maybe and maybe not. At this junction of 2024 we don’t know yet? The market place determines the real value of a player. Prospects & players are the real currency of the trade exchange. The twins have 3 outstanding centerfielder prospects maybe we can afford to move 1. The Twins have 2 very good 2b maybe move 1. We have several good young corner out - fielders and maybe move 1 or 2. Twins are fortunate to have 2 very good catchers. What teams are good trade partners with the Twins 2024; Marlins, Pirates, Mariners, Rays, Brewers, W.Sox, Reds, Rockies, D-backs, The Twins may have pay above market to bring about 1-2-3 trades but that’s ok to do to reach desired challenge. I don’t like to see the Twins trade my preference player either but if helps the Twins win. I’’m ok with trading my preference player. My trade suggestion; Vasquez (c) Polanco (inf),Rodequez (cf), Julien (inf), Schobol (SS). Kirilloff (of), Larnach (of) to the Marlins for Lozard (LSP) , Alcantara (RSP), on the injury list for 2024. This could be a trade like the (Arraez for Lopez trade in (23).
