    Opportunity , but a wasted opportunity , twins bat's do not come alive .... They did hit a solo homerun in. their 14th consecutive hame ... Interesting use of tonight's bullpen , I guess Rocco's gut didn't tell him that it was possible that we could play extra innings ...

    Plus he's left handed which I would love to have in the rotation to break the all righty rotation we have ... Pitching a lefthander in rotation would have the other teams having to make adjustments in there batting order ... Hope he can succeed ...

    Time to strike is when the twins are hot and Chicago is not ... We need to lengthen our lead in the division over Chicago and Cleveland early and run away with the division and take advantage that they are not playing well or it might just be a disappointment ... The twins better show up to play with a killer instinct and win on the road ...

    Hernandez is the worst ... I agree there are some pretty bad umpires and they should have an eye check everytime they call balls and strikes ... And I didn't mean for you to take it as it's OK, I just stated that he was consistent for both teams ...

    I know the article is a week of baseball in review but I'm taking it as a 10 game review of the homestand ... It was a good winning homestand going 6-4 against the nationals , Yankees and royals ... We extended our lead of the division to 3 1/2 games ... The national's series wasn't good losing 2 out of three , had things been reversed and we had won the series it would have been a great homestand ... The twins have to take the bad teams seriously with a killer instinct and put them away , otherwise you will get beat , I keep preaching a killer instinct , keep your head in the game at all times , make adjustments in your at bat with runners in scoring position or with 2 strikes to make contact , to often the twins hitters fail and leave to many runners left on base by swinging at air ... Strikeouts drive me crazy ... Got to cut down on these Strikeouts cause they drive me crazy ... Did I say Strikeouts make me crazy ... A good winning month of baseball , now use that killer instinct and start running away with the division ... I would really like a 10 game plus winning streak to show me that we are legitimate ...

    He seemed to be consistent for both sides though , he had a wide strike zone that is for sure ...

    The twins prevailed and took the series ... Made it a winning home stand ... The royals did impress ( more than the current yankee roster ) with the fight to the end that they gave us , they have a few keepers on that team to keep building with ...

    He does throw strikes but it is a SSS as a reliever here at MLB level ... Would be fine to keep him stretched out as a starter or a long relief guy ... I'm sure he would be grateful for whatever opportunities the twins would have for him ... Give him playing time at the MLB level for a complete analysis , not sure what he is in the long term but time will tell ...

    Plus the players took the field but did not bring the killer instinct to play and put the royals away , lots of opportunities for the taking , the twins have only won 2 games scoring 4 runs or less ...

    Sure is nice to have clutch hitting , 2 out three run homer by Polanco ... Great to have a healthy Polanco back and in the lineup , he has been the spark that ignited the other players as hitting is contagious ... Since activated a healthy Polanco has 9 rbi's , he has plenty left in the tank even though some have said he is past his prime ... We have been and are lucky to have him ( Polanco) playing for the twins ...

    Not many switch hitters early ranked ,,, We need pitching and skenes is 6'6" and 235 lbs ... Draft the best of the best ...

    Great enthusiastic write up ... we got to continue to beat the teams were suppose to Beat and not let up , good game 1 win ... Feel bad for mahle and his injured elbow but if the medical team is smart they should put him on the IL and bring up Ober and varland , maeda also is probably on IL ... No sense rushing him back with the ailment , radio was saying that his hid velocity was dropping , same thing thing happened last year , don't rush him back ...

    We all expect a sweep but will we get it , if they have a killer instinct along with home field advantage we should get it .. If they don't take the royals seriously then we won't , we'll find out tonight !!!

    I like the first sentence as a question ... Can the twins get another series win , and I like the answer even better ( they better ) ... Yes they better , no blaming the weather as temperatures are rising , now the batting averages should rise above the mendoza line , pathetic that Correa is batting 200 ...

    Good question WHY !!! I am not a fan of Rocco and I truly believe he is not a manager that can win in the playoffs or world series ( regular season , YES , shorter series against better teams with better pitching , NO ) ...

    It was kinda of an ugly lineup today , batting Kepler first and jeffers 3rd just doesn't do it for me ... Sitting Buxton and Polanco for the game when it should have been Correa ( slow start ) ... Got uglier when Rocco left maeda in to long ,,, nice the rookie headrick gave us 5 innings and Miranda's swing today was better ( hope he has made the right tweak to his swing ) ... We need Miranda's bat and Correa's too ...

    Besides good pitching , what was exciting to watch was the twins hit a handful of doubles ... The 2 run Homer's were nice too ... Also the great defensive play by Polanco was awesome ... I just might be on to something when i say Polanco for MVP ...

    This is the question ... How Rocco will use Stewart out of the bullpen ,,, Until the front office deals with the pagan situation , I'm not going to hold my breath on any of these added fringe players ... Get a long relief guy for a bullpen please ...

    In addition , batting Kepler as lead off or hitting 4th or higher is not conducive to a winning team ... Also we will never win with the manager we have ... I hope I can be proved wrong ...

    Give credit where credit is due ... Polanco has been a very good asset for the twins and will continue to do so , even if there are doubters out there , he should be fine barring injuries ...
