Get on Verlander early. Make him throw pitches. Him getting in an early groove with the crowd behind him is NOT something the Twins can afford to do.

Wallner struggles mightily against lefties. You need contact there to push a run across. The DP was obviously not the ideal outcome, but you can bet him not getting meaningful ABs against lefties when there are other options on the bench.

Super interesting to know that they let the starting pitchers pick which uniform the teams wore.

Would love to see the offense rattle Berrios early. We have all seen it several times how he tries to start nibbling the edges when he gets a little rattled and the pitch count starts to climb. The last thing we want to see today is that confident attacking Berrios. Prediction - Julien goes deep today.
