    Gotta remember Paddack is still working back from TJ surgery. I think it would be very beneficial if the Twins could get to a place with roster spots to skip him in the rotation once or twice and let him get some extra rest.

    Ober throwing into the 7th is such a welcome sign. Can they just not start him against KC, like plan around it? Dude might win the Cy Young if that's the case.

    According to Bobby Nightengale, here, after Paddack's start Monday, the Twins will push the rotation back a day and call up a starter to start Tuesday. Who is coming up? Who is going down? Guesses?

    So we are all just assuming that the 7th run 10th inning is the turning point in the season and it's only up and up from here.... right? Right?

    It generally takes pitchers 2 years to fully come back from that injury. It's been super promising that we have seen really good Paddack, but he is still in the process. I wouldn't be surprised to see his spot in the rotation skipped at least in the coming weeks/months though.

    Didn't see any of the game, won't watch any highlights....at least tonight, but I hate the Yankees.

    Obviously shutouts exist, but in general, 1 run is rarely enough to win a ballgame.

    A hanger on an 0-2 pitch to a player like Stanton is just ridiculous. That ball has not business being anywhere near the plate.

    Man, baseball is a game of inches. Both scoring plays were literally inches from being an out and a foul ball.

    We had different thoughts on that then! I absolutely loved that I could find a live baseball game to watch all the time, even if it was the Braves.

    With his propensity to give up the long ball combined with a tough Yankee lineup and that short right field porch.....Ober really needs to be on his game. Gil was overly fantastic in his last 6 starts, he's due to start giving up some runs!

    Was it bad sequencing or bad execution? SWR absolutely hung that pitch to Bregman. A good hitter is going to punish that pitch more times than not.
