  1. I think he's probably the definition of a AAAA arm. He earned the promotion, but probably never an arm you can trust on in a tight spot.
  2. On a good day! I use to have this killer baseball swing slice. Now 80% of the time I over correct and pull the **** out of it. It's a fickle game.
  3. Just catching up....Buck looking okay? Out as a precautionary measure I hope?
  4. Because they area in contention and he is one of the better corner OF defenders out there? How many teams in playoff contention sold off pending free agents?
  5. No Top 100 prospects were traded. Skubal, Quantril, Snell and Crochet stay put. A lot of players changing uniforms, we will see how much of an impact it all makes. Marlins active roster payroll down to $13.7M.
  6. If they tank due to morale, there is a much bigger issue here.
  7. Looks like they are giving up SS Jay Harry, last year's 6th round pick.
  8. We both know that will never happen.
  9. With the prices guys are going for, sitting out might not be that bad of an option. I still think they pull 1 or 2 small moves off late. Unless you can pull off a blockbuster and get guys with control or guys you want to extend, the deadline is such a sellers market.
  10. Kikuchi going for THAT much more than Fedde is pretty astounding. Or just regular White Sox things.
  11. The player option makes it pretty highly unlikely he gets moved.
  12. De Los Santos isn't nothing though. The dude is 21 and has crushed AA and is tossing up a .926 OPS against AAA pitching. He is similar to CES, but younger, walks more and strikes out less at a year and half younger. I get using CES isn't great at the current moment, but it was a decent piece when the Twins dealt him. I'm not sure who would ne a comp, but it's certainly not almost nothing,.
  13. We going to get a game in tonight?
  14. Correa, Miranda and Royce all on the IL at once is obviously less than ideal. It creates some issues.
  15. I say yes, yes, yes. Gotta think that trade value is low.
  16. The team went 0-5 with RISP late and didn't score a at all. 1st and 2nd, zero outs in the 7th, Buck, Kep and Santana all fail. Bases loaded in the 8th, zero outs, Margot, Castro and Jeffers all fail. Not to mention Alcala AND Jax both served up meatballs to Chourino and Hoskins in the 7th and 8th, whom took advantage of them..... Which were the tying and go ahead runs. People are going to bitch about Rocco pinch hitting Margot, which is a legitimate gripe, but..... players have to perform. They were in position and failed. Blaming Rocco is just a cheap scapegoat answer IMO.
  17. A little dramatic. Lot of baseball to be played. Last two days don't leave a good taste, but doesn't define the season.
  18. Not to mention Miranda, losing all 3 at once is pretty damn rough.
  19. Kikuchi fits the bill on what the Twins really should be after. Expiring contract, can put together a dominate outing and is left handed. His remaining salary would run $4.4M or so, it just depends on what the Jays asking price is on him.
  20. 🤣🤣🤣 I immediately thought this was just a good troll post. This team got THIN in a very short amount of time. I can only imagine if they were at home instead of in the Bay that Julien would be up for someone. Vazquez has played a total of 19 innings at 3rd in his career. Should be entertaining. Also a bit odd Lee isn't at SS and Castro at 2nd IMO.
