  1. Agreed but its depth that can sit on the bench while Wallner and TL play every day.
  2. Jace is gonna love MN when he gets here…. Lots of hunting and fishing. It sure seems like he is a great kid with huge talent upside.
  3. We dont need an OF in a trade. We got Castro and Gordon coming back soon.
  4. If traded, 2 years from now they will both be raking in the allstar game.
  5. We aren't winning with Kepler and Gallo. Dump them both and bring up TL and Wallner
  6. @DocBauer With the extra $2.4M$ given to them in the lottery, they should have plenty to sign those last two highschoolers. They can no doubt go under slot on several picks as well and $500k over budget total. I bet all 20 picks sign and 5 years look back at a great draft.
  7. His TJ was done in spring of 2021 after 3 starts. He missed all of 2022 and was rehabbing in May /june 2022 predraft. What a bummer!
  8. I love this pick!!! and the draft as a whole. I have no doubt that Charlee is going to be a great player because he is a good young man. I cant imagine his ceiling is anything less than a dominating SP.
  9. I love the strategy of swinging for the fences on some hs kids that may have 5 tools. The college pitchers look solid enough to develop so it seems like a huge win. We have a couple $M more pool money than usual and the 4th most in the league. I see no reason to spend over that amount. 10 more picks is where you separate your scouting abilities from other teams. Im confident that 2-3 future major leaguers will be found by our scouting team today.
  10. I really like this pick! He seems like he is very mature and works hard at improving his game. Get him signed and on the field in Iowa asap.
  11. Simple solution, DFA someone and bring up Wallner and Jenkins. JK but not really.
  12. Who needs a hamate bone anyhow… it will be nice to see how he develops. Possible ROY 2026!
  13. Its a nice pick, speed and hit tools. I was thinking more about Carrigg or a college pitcher.
  14. I believe that I called this pick in one of the threads…. I’m very happy the twins finally caught my vibe 😂
  15. Twins have just dealt too many prospects in bad tradea. Miranda will be fine once he figures it out.
  16. If you arent going to take a top 5, then take a solid college pitcher below slot $$ and get Jacob Wilson to slide to 34 and pay him. He never strikes out. Then grab Carigg at 49.
  17. Yuck. There are so many more ways to get talent. This would be a huge mistake. Can they actually mess up this bad? Lol.
  18. What are the odds that Jenkins is a perineal all star vs. any of the other top 13 prospects? With this being a deep draft, it may end up that the whole top 30 are solid MLB’rs. I’d be happy with Jenkins in our farm system! Hopefully for no longer than 3 years when he gets the call to be on the varsity squad. I still think that signing pool $$$ is going to shake up the top 10 somehow.
  19. Absolutely, most of the write ups on Dollander just reiterate how he wasn’t effective in spring ball like he was expected to be…. and then they finish the report with. “ Still has upside potential to be an Ace.” Im sure there is a team just waiting to snipe him….
  20. If I were a GM. I would find 2 or 3 Arraez type knockers to play every day. 7 sluggers and issues at 8/9 in the line up is a terrible daily line up.
  21. Has anyone on the consensus board researched why Dollander had the season he had this year? He has a new pitching coach. He has been trying to develop his 4th pitch as a way to not be just a flamethrower. He is also been trying to overthrow just to hit triple digits. Im hoping Langford, Clarke or Skenes gets to us at 5 but Dollander is a great pick at 5 provided those guys are gone. (Zero chance at Crews and I’m not high on Jenkins.)
  22. Max is a winner! He would be a great pick but I have a bad feeling that he will be gone by 5. He also seems like a kid that could speed thru the system and be in AA or AAA in 2025. Best case scenario, he wins rookie of the year like the kid in Seattle and the twins get an extra comp pick as well. Please, please, please, No more Sabatos or Cavaco’s. Ever.
  23. Is he still 5’ 10” tall or did he grow a bit? Hows his defense? Routes?
