I'd wager its Arroyo or Salty and we're not gonna be happy about the years or dollars. I hope it's Garza and I don't really give a damn about the years or dollars (to an extent).

Would Navarro be a "major" signing?

 

I have followed mlbtraderumors for a long time and Tim doesn't just use major for any signing. Has to be someone better.

Well, after taking a second gander at his numbers last night, I'm happy with Nolasco.

 

Literally, the only two guys that would rank higher would have been Tanaka (maybe) and Garza. Jimenez and Santana cost the draft pick. Kazmir I'd put at about the same level but with less track record. This is a quality signing.

 

The Twins have already exceeded my modest early expectations.

I just took a deeper look at his stats as well. He's better than I thought, actually.

 

Nice signing, particularly if it's only for three years.
