He probably meant to but just couldn't bring himself to pick up the phone and hire an Investment professional.

 

He probably dropped it all on Ju Ju Bees and Stereo Equipment.

In regards to Plouffe. This year has sucked for him and I believe it will lead to him not being with the Twins next year. He seems a bit more likeable and coachable than Delmon or Valencia. But it just hasn't worked out. I see a lot of people post about how he could be a utility guy - playing the OF, 2B, 1B, and 3B, but I don't see how that is feasible. Last year TR made a pretty concrete comment on how Plouffe could not play the OF... and we know how his IF play goes.

 

My guess is Plouffe is DFA'd and ends up with a club that gives him a chance for a fresh start. What happens after that is anyone's guess.

 

If Gardy and most, if not all of his staff is retained for another year - it will be hard for me to get my blood pumping for the 2014 season.

 

No offense to Gardenhire or Anderson, etc. - but the time has come and they need to go. Thanks for the memories.

 

Ryan is untouchable and he will not be going anywhere unless it is his decision.

 

This **** needs to be cleaned up - pronto! We all knew this season was going to be rough, but the last 3 years it seems to get worse as the season goes on. The morsels of hope are few and far between.

I'm with ya Bark... I don't mind losing but beating the Rangers and Yu Darvish when Plouffe doesn't slide feels worse.

Just like I drew it up in the 1st Post of today's game thread. Darvish should feast on strikeouts but if Hendriks can keep em close... Stranger things have happened and Voila.

That was the best game of the year, I think, and easily the most satisfying.
Not to me, because of the Mastro play and the Plouffe play. Also a bit miffed that Florimon overslid the bag. Liam gets a "W" and the Twins defeat Yu Darvish, not bad, but the little things do bother me.
