Friday vs. TEX – Joe Ryan. 
Saturday – Bailey Ober. 
Sunday – Dean Kremer. 

Shelton didn’t rule out Zebby Matthews pitching out of the bullpen. Zebby said he was hoping to pitch once more.

Zebby should get the start Sunday over Kremer, again it feels like giving preference to a traded for veteran over the players you have developed.  And it is at home where he has pitched well.

Joe Ryan is the best SP for the home stand but that’s at night. I’m looking at the afternoon games on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy some sun

While I am not high on Shelton, I do think the front office is influencing this as well.  They are the common denominator to all these decisions that have not changed over the years.  Such as favoring veterans over the younger players like the lineup tonight.

Texas is fighting for the division title so Shelton says he'll play his regular lineup. We'll be at Saturday's game.

I’m workshopping this idea but I think the Twins need to hire an old-timey GM to do a short term turnaround. A Dave Dombrowski type, preferably him specifically, to get this team competitive so the Pohlads sell ASAP.

I agree completely, but I am worried that Tom P. is going to try and hire the next wunderkid if he does anything.

I do wonder with the firing of Deron Johnson if Zoll has been told he will be back.  That kind of firing and the timing seems strange if there are going to be changes, let the new guy make them.
