Pretty sure Buck has made it clear that he is staying here and playing with these kids. If only we had a 1B man …..

Its been malpractice that Erod had to wait this long to debut!! 2027 is gonna be exciting after the lockout…..

I wasn't surprised at all by Emma's bat, defense, baserunning & enthusiasm; I come to expect it. Yet I was very excited for him. He provided some gas to a team that have been running on fumes. Just enough to get us home last night. He hit the ball hard. Keep doing what you're doing, Emma. I'm cheering for you. Your appearance is long overdue.

That homer really was a swing of beauty.

Also, Pablo Lopez is a saint. This man needs to win the Roberto Clemente award this year, full stop. Should be no contest.

So happy for Emanuel.  Pablo is seemingly an amazing person.  With the team all season doing what he can.  And he is great as translator for his teammates.  I hope he comes back next season and experiences great success.

And 3.5 of the Wild Card with a win today. Ha! Sorry, y’all, I know we’re doomed but it ain’t over till it’s over! Peter, where you at? I need reinforcements.

All the talk about Buxton's future with the team is tiresome. First off he's having hip surgery on Friday and months of recovery. The organization and manager could sit down with him and his agent and say we are going to go younger in the OF in 27,but could have a spot for you at DH. Everyone knows that Buxton doesn't want and was not a good DH. So he maybe would except a trade after the start of ST showing other teams he has something left in the tank.

On another note Erod looks far more ready for the show than Jenkins. Made the great play and throw to 3rd. And all of his at bats had great swings with good contact. His HR started the 4 run inning and the BP did their job.

There is only one person who knows the answer to this question and that is Buxton.  He has publicly said he wants to be here.  I would assume he has looked at all the factors involved and made this decision.  Yes it could change but my guess is we won't know until a trade would be announced.

But as of today I am going to enjoy watching him play when he is on the field the next two years.

For you to say someone is wrong on something like this without facts is kind of arrogant.

So Zoll should hear an agent say 'we won't waive it' and believe that?  It was Zoll's job to extract max value of the assets he has.  If he just rolled over at that moment, when Buck was crushing it, thinking it would help the franchise, or sell one more hot dog.... bad call.  His value was sky high.   But ok, I guess.  Zolls job was/is to negotiate and while I could be wrong, if someone extended Buck 2 more years at $30m a year, the agent would have said heck yes in a moment.  Those here that believe otherwise, I believe, are being naive.  Do I know?  Of course not.  Does $60m matter for someone who is on a bad team, in a state he doesn't live?  I believe I do.

Just opinion

What does the agent have to do with it, Buxton makes the call himself.  And in this situation he is probably communicating directly with the team and his agent.  And again at least publicly he has stated he wants to be here.  So I don't understand how you think an agent is going to override Buxton's decision.
