You are saying this from your couch after the play, during the play you have a teammate telling you to throw to third, regardless of your pre pitch prep, you are probably going to where your teammate tells there is a play.

It’s not “from my couch”. That’s baseball 101 taught from a young age. Lee shouldn’t have called but he shouldn’t have thrown. I complimented KC on his defense earlier in the game but that wasn’t the right play.

its on Lee  ---  either way --  he catches it -great play - he goes for the tag b4 the ball is in his glove  which he did , and its a error--    K.C  is acquitted by this jury of 1

This team continues to struggle to play 9 good innings in a game. Been a fun season but they are not consistent enough to make a run.

we almost fooled em ,  ya i know the Owner vetoed it .    wish we had a bright ownership !!!!!

I have to admit, I don't want ownership making decisions on personnel unless it is budget related.  They typically have no baseball knowledge or how to evaluate players.  I don't necessarily agree with what the Astros owner did.  If he doesn't trust his baseball staff then he should probably bring in new people which is what I hope Tom P. does.

, I don't want ownership making decisions on personnel--   neither do i ,  but in this case  he was probably right ,  did you hear his reason ?   i respect what he said

My understanding is he didn't want to move Abreu, but if that is the reason I am not sure.

also said that because his team still had a good chance that moving players was a bad sign in a pennant race and the Players all  agreed with him ,  He came right out and addressed it   which the Twins never do

Well, in this case, it's easier for the Astros to talk about it since they vetoed the trade. Shelton seemed to have handled it privately with Larnach, which is about all you can hope for.

Take Buxton out now!!!  He's still hurt.  He's disengaged.  They play better without him.  Sorry to say it, but right now he's bad for chemistry.  Larnach is trending in that direction too.  For goodness sake bring Jenkins up!

Yet another pathetic effort, wasting a heroic one.  So many chances to add on, and everybody knew we were gonna need it.  Cripe, Morris doing his best Eric Orze-Justin Topa impersonation, and insult to injury, key hit by Ty France, of all people, who truly sucked during his time in the TC.

P-p-p-playoffs?  Cue Jim Mora.

Re:  KC throwing to 3rd--

To quote the immortal movie "Major League":  "Nice catch Hayes...."  And you know the rest.
