  1. When older, broken down players start dragging down results, bring in your best younger talent. Buxton 0 for last 18 with RISP. He looked bad last night, struck out on a ball a foot outside. It's not that complicated. IL Buxton indefinitely until he's 110%, which may never happen. Let's see.......who do the Twins have......a great outfielder who could fill in.............hmmmmm, gee, well I'm stumped.
  2. The Twins should be proud to have developed a future star like Jenkins. He'll fit right in at New York or LA.
  3. But but but, what would happen if Jenkins is called up to fill in for flat/injured outfielders like Larnach and Buxton? It could really help the team! What then? I don't know, we're just not ready for it.
  4. Larnach and Buxton need to sit. Coming out of slumps is difficult, added pressure, hence the chasing bad pitches.
  5. Take Buxton out now!!! He's still hurt. He's disengaged. They play better without him. Sorry to say it, but right now he's bad for chemistry. Larnach is trending in that direction too. For goodness sake bring Jenkins up!
  6. Let Lewis play awhile. What do we have to lose? We're not paying him that much. We know he can at times be a great hitter. IMO he needs a more workman approach, more serious, more focus. It's good to have fun playing, but maybe tone down the childlike overflowing zealousness. Odds are Ryan and Jeffers will get traded so?
  7. Castro has hit well at times including the HR today, but good grief Rocco needs to teach some situational hitting. Clase was coming apart at the end, walking Jeffers and giving up a hit to Farmer. For goodness sake be patient, take until he throws a strike, baseball 101. Castro was flailing at balls in the dirt, struck out on pitches not even close.
  8. Glad to see Jeffers come through, need more of him. Vasquez was a solid catcher with Boston and Houston (played good in WS last year), but like other players on this team his 2023 offensive numbers are way below his career average.
