Moral victories... tonight and Monday. Absolutely pathetic.

The beatings continue.

Oh you said Moral..

Tell you what might be more pathetic than the Twins over the last 25 years. People like us that follow them, and watch them,  and root for them in spite of the odds. We could probably all do a lot more with our time, but that just shows you how sick we are and how we’re evidently addicted to these clowns.

Some of us just like having something to complain about.

I really don’t like how betting has become legitimate and above board. Just seems easier for fringe athletes to determine outcomes…..

Integrity of the games just don’t seem to matter as much. Leagues are rolling in even more cash, and can look the other way so easy.

Mob money…. is much cleaner now

The story in my head, not based on anything but a guess, is maybe he likes the lack of pressure here.

Oh, there’s pressure, but not nearly as much as there would be if he was playing for a winning team and was bad in clutch situations.

Do you want to play the kids? Because he’s one of them.

Normally I do but, Luke could use 2 to 3 weeks in St Paul to work on positioning and footwork. This is not a playoff year. I do want Keaschall on this Twins roster, but want him to be a better defender, think he could use a couple week's as a Saint. No more Voth's and Lawrence types in bullpen. If the coaching staff doesn't want to send him down, that opinion matters  a lot more than mine.

Does he have little kids?  Maybe he doesn't want to uproot/move them?

Amen brother…. I was 6 when the Twins came to town. Loved them ever since.

Just can’t quit them

Exactly. It’s not a playoff year. So why are you getting so worked up about one of the very few young players this team plays? 2-3 weeks in AAA learning how to field better is silly.

Ownership and front office has sucked for 25 years. Twins best rosters were in 2006 with Radke and Santanna and 2009, 2010 and because of their precious prospects, not only would they not add payroll, Twins made zero moves at trade deadline when they needed a better bullpen, or Liriano got injured and they started Boof Bonser in the playoffs. Boof Bonser. Shameful ownership (Pohlads) and Terry Ryan spoiled Joe Mauer and  Justin Morneau and Johan Santanna's best years. Could have won a World Championship and the Pohlads would not pull the trigger and go for it.

What signing or trade did the Pohlad's say no to.  Did Ryan bring them something and they said no way.  Ryan worked with the resources given and knew the environment he was operating and acted accordingly unlike Falvey.

The better team won the games.  We gave them a bit of a run on 2/3 games, but realistically they are likely to win the vast majority of games.  They are just deeper and much more talented.  Not complicated.

BREAKING: Team with the best record in MLB is better than a team who’s been below .500 for months.

Soriano, was one they could have pulled trigger on, and didn't want the salary or rental for prospect capital from Rangers. His bat would have helped.  Could have just been rumor of the day, but sounded like Twins ownership didn't want to part with a certain outfield  prospect or add salary. But that is what I acknowledge as hearsey. With Liriano's injury they really should have added a starter, but again payroll constraints of the Dome, revenue. Still was the best teams we had to make a playoff run, regretful that those teams not added too. They were in on better closers,  relievers than Matt Capps but settled on him because of prospect capital and salary.

If were going young and playing kids is a goal,  I want Houston to skip AAA and play short stop for the Twins and eventually Culpepper at Second to end season.  Those are the best defenders to end the season with and players with chances to be cornerstone double play combos. I would want Luke  to play some  first base for the Saints, and trade Royce Lewis. That would be my goal to develop the kid's

I would want Culpepper moved up, Houston to AAA if he does well at AA, and get some of the freakin' outfielders healthy and up getting MLB experience.  We MUST find out whether the OF's are players or pretenders at some point.

And let the trading begin (again).
