It was time to send Wallner down. Hope he finds that swing and confidence again.

Feels like a repeat of 2024 where he couldn't hit anything, got demoted, came back in July and raked, just to stink it up in 2025 and be even worse to start 2026. This is his 5th year in the majors, at some point he is who he is. Maybe he gets hot when he returns, but if that just earns him more rope to be bad in 2027 it's pointless.

That's two positive moves. We only need maybe five more.

Bringing Zebby up and and sending Wallner are good moves.  The corresponding moves are not, Kreidler needs to be here only if there are 4 or 5 injuries.  Bring up Fedko or even Sabato at this point, see what you have going forward.  Kreidler is not the answer.  And why is Adams going down, I would rather have him on mop up duty in a future game than Garcia.

This organization needs to be honest with itself and realize they are not a contending team and make moves accordingly.  Not keep running these AAAA types and washed up pitchers out there.

Sadly that's the case. If Roden or E-Rod were healthy I would assume either one gets the call up today. Gonzalez is on the 40 man but he's been struggling in AAA.

I think he is a perfect change of scenery candidate.  His time with the Twins has to be over and not be counted on going forward.  I still think there is something there but it is not going to happen with the Twins.  He is not young anymore, let's move on.  Keep him in AAA and either trade him for a bucket of balls or release at the end of the year.

Re: Travis Adams... It's time to make him a full time reliever. But they won't, because the Twins love their bulk pitcher strategy in the minors to keep everyone stretched out.

They need to get away from this bulk pitcher strategy.  They are not stretched out enough to be a starter if they get called up.  Look at the Saints roster now without Matthews, they don't have one true starter on that roster.  They are all bulk guys.  Make a decision on these guys, either prepare them to be a starter or reliever.  They can still pitch 2 to 3 innings as a reliever, but start preparing them to be ready for a role when they come up.

What does Adams need to do to prove his worth with this team? What they keep doing to him is wrong. It's so hard for a player to get into any groove when they are constantly being shipped back and forth.

It's bizarre to me that the FO has more faith in random DFA/waiver wire acquisitions over their own drafted players.

The Twins' starting lineup is posted. Lewis, Kreidler, and Outman batting 7,8,9. Yikes.

Outman-Wallner same likely outcome at the plate and slightly better defense. It's a non-move to counteract the move. Keaschall batting fifth.. dunno..

Dang, this lineup is gross. Hope we can scratch across a couple of Byron Buxton solo shots and get out of here with a win....

Wonder if Trevor is dinged up after that steal.. or maybe even trade in the works. Unusual to sit twice in a row. Lefty pitcher?

Buck doesn't hit so well when he's DH v CF. Hope today's the exception.

Adams did get to pitch 33 innings last year and was mostly terrible, and has looked like more of the same in a small sample size this year. But yeah, I wish they'd try to make the likes of Adams and Klein to be one inning relievers rather than waste time with the likes of Garcia.

He's also not available today and likely tomorrow. Guessing Bowman or the like will be called up
