Keaschall should realize he is getting closer to St. Paul.

He has to get in line behind Lewis, not to mention they've been very slow to demote anyone.

I really wish they would keep Moliter in the booth - he provides so much better insight then Span and Morneau.

It should be 1-0 but Martin wasted Lee's double.

This does not look good.

I smell a big inning for the fish. We shouldn't schedule Miami after the opener.

Josh Bell reminds me of some really dark days in Twins baseball when they would sign the likes of Jerald Clark, Kevin Maas, Dave Hollins, Roberto Kelly, et al. The most you can hope for is Bell gets on a heater and improves his trade value towards the deadline but even then, a Josh Bell trade, at best, gets you lottery ticket prospect. There's nothing to be gained and it creates a bottleneck that reduces opportunities for young players.

Caratini shows why any one thinking of putting Wallner at 1st should be deported to Outer Mongolia.

Caratini is in the same category although I guess if you squint, you can see a rationale for having your starting catcher in 2027 after Jeffers leaves and the Twins top catching prospect is probably 2 or even 3 years away.

I think he needs a chance to reset.  Some guys can get broken with too much failure.

Well, Kelly batted .323 for the Twins his first year.

True, way more than anything we'd get from Bell - but my thought is the same, signing someone like Josh Bell does nothing for your team.
