Chris Hove Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 9 Posted April 9 What are your guys thoughts on Christian Encarnacion-Strand? He's available and would provide great power potential at first base. His numbers aren't great though. I should have wrote an article on him. David HK and AlwaysinModeration 2

Too much swing and miss in the bat and he's a defensive liability. Also, we have like three first basemen already

jaimedude Verified Member Posted April 9 Posted April 9 No to CES in majors, maybe on stashed at St Paul in case of injury.

CES seems to be another player in the same thread as Sabato, Larnach, or some of the other players Falvey drafted in the early part of his era. A big bat that they could try to develop quickly and use him as trade bait. Although the trade didn't work out as Mahle got hurt, it did clear out players that now appear like they have hit their ceiling, similar to a Larnach, Sabato, or Lee. Edited April 9 by Western SD Fan
