Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Slightly off topic but I was listening to Foul Territory yesterday and they interviewed Cowboy Joe West about the ABS, and he actually made a good point. From what I know, the ABS only measures the strike zone at the middle of the plate. A ball could clip the strike zone at the front of the plate before falling out of the strike zone or a ball could fall into the strike zone near the back of the plate and neither would be called a strike using ABS.
