mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 A.J. Hinch just played right into Seattle , Mize was fine 3 innings 1 run ---- cant count on every Relief pitcher being perfect ---- Tigers are the Twins = ZERO HITTING Danchat and Hosken Bombo Disco 1 1

The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Dillon Dingler is probably the closest we'll ever get to having a ballplayer named Dirk Diggler
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Great call by the commentator on the Baez HR- “and now two more” as the ball is leaving the bat 🙂
Danchat Verified Member Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Y'all think Rocco is the worst manager, now we've got every manager in the playoffs doing things that seem stupid to us. There's no way we hire a manager who's going to make us happy. This is baseball now, like it or not. Mike Sixel, Hosken Bombo Disco, The Great Hambino and 1 other 4

There's been some bad managers yes , but Rocco being the twins manager just kept frustrating the diehard fans when he wouldn't deviate from the daily plan , it's just so hard to get used to this kind of baseball that just doesn't seem to work with this organization .... Pinch hitting Margot everytime he needed a right handed hitter is proof he and Falvey's plan wasn't working , platooning hitters in the past , he gave lefthanders alittle more leeway this season , but not against real good lefthanders ... Not stealing bases because Rocco said we weren't a team with speed , and the runners started to prove him wrong after the deadline stealing bases and making the games more exciting ... That beautiful bunt that Clemens did to score the runner from third was Clemens idea , he confessed he did not call it , ut was a perfectly placed bunt ... Bunting alitte bit more after the deadline when we had a speedy player on third and less than 2 outs .... What took so long to finally change thing up just a bit to make the game more interesting , even if we lose , it was more of an effort from the players to try and win ....

I'm on board with firing him, he had it coming, I'm commenting on how some are questioning the moves of managers currently in the playoffs and how from my perspective it seems to be more of a disdain of the state of modern baseball. Managers are pulling their starters in the 4th inning and guys like Varland are starting games... and these are the playoff teams. chpettit19 and Mike Sixel 2
