Baseball Reference shows him as an outfielder with a very short and undistinguished career with the Twins in '81 and '85.

Youre right, he was a big power hitter who mashed a lot of taters in the minors, but never caught on in mlb.  IIRC, a contemporary of that 80's Twins core.
