Mediterranean or Baltic maybe, but other than that no.

No, I was referring to the actual cost of the Monoply board piece.

I hope we don't see "Joe Ryan" and "second opinion" in the same article three days from now

What if the second opinion came from Joe.

One topic where I disagree with some posting individuals is the idea of trading Ryan and Lopez for new, younger talent. What makes anybody think that the team's system can nurture such talent? The only one that has shown true worth this year is Keashall in my view.  Jenkins could be a bust in the future as was Miranda. Ryan and Lopez could be given a choice as I question if they want to be cellar dwellars the next few years. Why would they want to even stay on the team?

Clearly they can't. Plus if a "prospect" does actually become an average MLB player, let alone a great one, when they reach that point and are arbitration eligible they will be traded for more "prospects".
Where is the future?

Didn't they say earlier this is umps 4th game.

Could say the same for our guys from the end result. I see looking back at gameday how Joe could get himself worked up. Couple iffy calls

The irony of this thought process is that it only makes sense to keep them if they're going to be competitive within the next two years, and the only way they're competitive within the next two years is if a bunch of their internally-developed prospects become quality contributors immediately.

Every quality veteran across the league has one thing in common: they were all once a prospect

All three minor league clubs are putting up zeroes tonight. Prielipp four shutout innings.

Let me make it clear.. our batters were putting up zeroes. Sorry for the false hope.
