tony&rodney Verified Member Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 Nice play by Brooks Lee. We have to enjoy what we can. The Twins are the worst team in baseball at the moment and next year is shaping up as a 100 loss campaign. This will test the resolve of all Twins fans. Enjoy the small things. It sure was a beautiful day today. Patzky and Blyleven2011 2

mnfireman Verified Member Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 Not so sure of a sac bunt to move the runner over to get Outman to the plate with 2-outs.
thelanges5 Verified Member Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 May not mean anything, but Raya has pitched in relief the last couple outings.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 27, 2025 Posted August 27, 2025 Rough beginning for Pablo, with the first eight hitters combining to go for the cycle. The Mud Hens greeted him with double, triple, single, all hard hit. Then a towering homer in the second. He looked sharp over the final two innings. For the night, he threw 46 of 68 pitches for strikes, getting a number of swinging strikes on his change up. With 68 pitches, I could see him back with the Twins Sunday. Meanwhile, Dobnak looked good, but got burned by bad luck. He gave up three runs, two earned, but should have gotten out of the inning with nothing. He retired the first nine men, then gave up a walk to lead off the fourth. Jenkins hit a tailor-made grounder, but the second baseman booted it and got no one. After a bloop single, he got a grounder that should have been the third out. The three hits he gave up were a bloop and two seeing-eye singles. Not really a hard-hit ball night. glunn, Vanimal46 and Patzky 2 1
