Push is the key word  , for a couple of days after the deadline the player played baseball  , then they settled back to mediocrity and that's being kind ...

I don't care what Rocco says   the players and even the coaches need to be better pushed ...

I think Abel has some good stuff.  He just needs to learn how to use it effectively to get MLB hitters out.  He also needs to work on his control, both in and out of the strike zone.  Giving up hits on 0-2 counts by throwing mediocre breaking balls in the strike zone is just lousy execution/game plan.

Ok with him taking his lumps and getting a half dozen starts under his belt for the rest of the year.  After all, this is essentially extended spring training at this point to get guys experience and see who sinks and who swims at this level.

Been there-done that with my dad. If you are a Dave you've probably done it as well...I think our name peaked sometime in the 1950s!  Did you have to get up and turn the channel and adjust the rabbit ears too?

Had 5 Davids in my 2nd grade class. 

Get up and change the channel? Can remember when we got our first TV! Didn't have to go to my Uncle's any longer to watch TV or run home after school to watch World Series at my friend's house after school. Picture rolling horizontally...and then vertically...
