So some sad news...I had to go to the funeral of a good friend this afternoon. 

His wife asked me if I'd say a word during the service. So I went up front, and after a moment, I said "Plethora."

Then I sat down. 

After the service, my friend's wife came up to me to me and said, "Thanks. That means a lot."

I know there is a big disparity between the amount of at-bats but, Wallner has a higher BA, OBP, SLG, and OPS vs lefties this season.

I caught a bit of the Foul Territory podcast that had Dan Hayes talking about the non-sale. 

Didn't learn much we didn't already know, but Pierzynski did have a fun story about how ol' Carl didn't know any of the players' names.  He walked up to him and called him Torii.  So ... yeah.  The legacy lives on!
