Zebby + Festa + Abel + Bradley is a wealth of rotation talent on the cusp. One or two to the bullpen?

I like the potential of all those pitchers, especially Bradley. But stringer bell is right; with so many "starters" now on the roster, a few of these guys will need to move to the bullpen or be trade bait.

Love Zebby, and he looks a lot like the kid who ran out from the Skelly station in 1958 with a rag flying from his pocket to "fill-er-up" and check the tires and oil. No, he really does!

I can see it: fabulous image! That would make for a great t-shirt!

A good game for the team last night. Zebby wasn't efficient early; would like to see him finish off hitters better when he gets in those good pitcher's counts, rather than missing with an uncompetitive pitch or seeing guys foul off multiple pitches with two strikes. But he was effective and held the line well against a pretty good lineup.

With our bullpen...limited, it was good to see the offense put up runs early and give the team a nice lead to work with. Keaschall hasn't missed a beat at the plate and it was great to see him blast his first big league homer. Very happy to see the Twins working a pile of walks and getting runners on. Larnach is on a nice run right now and setting himself up a bit for next year...which will likely be somewhere else if this ownership stick around.

In conclusion, Eff the Pohlads and Sell the Team!

Roden is the same for me. Thrived in AAA, but so far isn’t up to major league ball.

Roden has looked real bad, but he needs to be given a real shot. It's extremely atypical to double your strikeout rate from AAA to MLB. The difference in quality isn't that much.

He should be playing nearly every day to see if he can figure it out. There's way more chance of him contributing on the 2027 Twins as compared to Larnach or Martin.

Entertaining game to watch.... At this point, I'll take that!

Twins have gone from "unwatchable" to "must see" in about a week.

In baseball terms that's like turning an aircraft carrier on a dime.

Martin is not a MLB outfielder.

IMO, you're right, he's more a 2Bman. Twins are trying to make him into an MLB CFer, because of his athleticism & Twins' concern for flexibility. IMO, Martin would be better served if he stayed at 2B.

He's pretty far down on the depth chart at 2B. Keaschall is going to get those reps for the rest of the year.

Concur.

And Martin isn't any better at 2nd than CF, to further compound the situation.

I’m afraid you’re right and he’s been unimpressive with the bat. I’d like to see what he can do over a 30 game stretch before the team gives up on him.

Larnach and Wallner are too much alike IMHO and the club will have to choose one and trade the other.

It’s good to have rotation depth, as we learned this year. But right now none of these guys looks like more than a mid rotation pitcher, which isn’t bad. Any team could use a legit number one starter, like a Verlander or Clemons, though Ryan and Lopez have solidified themselves as good number twos options.

Martin is competing with Kody Clemons for a utility spot for next year. Clemons has exceeded expectations, can handle multiple positions, and has some power in a limited role. That doesn’t bode well for Martin’s future here.

He's got one more option year, and I don't see the Twins in a real rush to DFA him, so he's gonna be a Minnesota Twin for one more season. What role he'll play...probably a bad one.
