Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Win a series! Please. thelanges5, Ottomatic1990, shortround81 and 1 other 4
Chris Hove Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 I assume a heavy right-handed lineup today for the Twins. Wallner and Larnach likely starting on the bench???
Chris Hove Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Yep, I figured it would be right-handed heavy. Bride makes his first start since May 27th Patzky, shortround81 and thelanges5 3

Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 This would be a nice series to win. Texas is better their record indicates. But...Corbin is the type of pitcher that has typically given the Twins fits. Need Bailey to go 6...turn it over to Columbe, Sands, Jax and presumably Duran's available again today. Patzky and Peter 2

Every other day we face "the type of pitcher who gives the Twins fits". Maybe we need new uniforms.. Twins_Fan_in_NJ, Ottomatic1990, Doc Lenz and 1 other 2 2

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Left handed and breathing buys you so many opportunities in MLB. Patrick Corbin is a prime example. Since 2020, he has -1.7 WAR, 36-75 record and a 5.46 ERA. But he’s still getting the ball every 5 games. Madness. Chris Hove and Mike Sixel 2

Since 2020 he's made an eye-popping $127 million. Gotta be the worst contract in Washington franchise history. Good work if you can get it...

Strasburg was mainly health-related, but yeah, Corbin is a tough contract.

I keep suggesting that the ghost of Jamie Moyer could still get through this lineup once to twice a la Big Sexy when he was with the Twins.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Smith and Semien are some ungodly batting avg and success against Ober. Stats don't lie.
