Think of it this way, he is a closer. Is Duran useless the first 7 innings? Eventually teams will go to 12 pitchers and guys like Keirsey Jr. will have a job. In any event he is doing the best he can, like Lewis.

Clemons has sure been a fine trade. I'm not remembering him looking anything but overmatched in his past MLB appearances. Nice to see the success. He is also playing an adequate second base.

I don't have a problem with them advertising to sell tickets.  My concern is that they may have sacrificed his rehab stint to sell tickets and Lewis and team are paying for it.

If we could tuck him into the nine spot and had a healthy Buxton Correa Wallner and Keaschall we could afford that luxury.
