I do not want to hear about the cool temperatures  , it's a mental thing that these players have , if I move around in this temperature I break a sweat ...

Now it's got to be uncomfortable for a fan sitting  ...

They have made the light weight advanced long-john for decades; if people are too ignorant to know they would make a day like this as comfortable as 78 in June, they live in the wrong state.

MLB had the Twins at 52% to win based on the pitching matchup.

A bit flawed. How much better does our pitching ACTUALLY have to be than the opponent’s to overcome the chasm in hitting talent??

One run better 😂

I think it is different for every player actually. I could never get loose playing baseball in weather below 60 degrees but never suffered playing 9 innings in Florida in July. The players work hard to prepare but it probably does get in a few players' minds.

Yep , I think baseball players never learned or went to the boy scouts ...

Their motto is BE PREPARED  ....

It’s such a lame excuse and frequently used as a blanket response to why player X is struggling.

Agreed. 90% of them have spent their lives in Florida, SoCal, and Dominican Republic. And it’s not like trying to hit major league pitching (or pitching to major league hitters) is anything like layering up to go check your beaver traps.

Someone must have accidentally banged the trash can. Carlos was looking for the wrong pitch.

Everyone is.

It’s cold in October and November too. So I guess we’re screwed if we make a run in the playoffs.

Missing the point…it’s the same for the opponents. It’s never a good excuse. I DO think it effects some guys.
