The Twins can't win consistently without Buxton and Correa unless Lewis goes supernova and he hasn't been that of late.

They have only played 17 games together this season and it is starting to show. Still is pretty remarkable how good the record is despite that fact.

Under the new guidelines, leading teams have to be up by 10 or more runs in the ninth inning in order to let a position player pitch while trailing teams can use a position player anytime it's down by eight or more runs. Position players are also allowed to pitch anytime in extra innings.  

The Twins could use Farmer for 7 innings tomorrow.

We sure picked a fine time of the season to start going belly up, injuries notwithstanding.  Double yuck!

Even if we somehow make the playoffs, I can see us being swept out in the first series.  I'm not being negative here, just realistic.

Maybe the goal should be not to get down 9-1. Playing some of ugliest ball of the season in September is not ideal, pulling for the teams behind us to loss instead of taking care of business is not going to cut it.

Ok. Can't watch, only seeing dots on Gameday. Two innings and Fried has retired the Twins on pitches that show Farmer taking a strike and everything else not worth swinging at? What's going on here?
