Watching the Guardians game before this one starts, this Rangers pitcher is awful, and umps have already given 3 missed calls in Cleveland's favor, plus missed a balk call on a pickoff that even the first baseman Naylor didn't know he was throwing over

Provus telling the story of Fedde's free agency and how he wanted to be in Chicago more than San Diego.  Certainly there are other factors that go into these decisions but from a competitive standpoint, I find it pretty pathetic that one would choose a few extra dollars over a chance at winning.
