Aside from the catcher's interference, there haven't been any. I double checked the box score.

If Jeffers ever learns to backhand the ball...... Sands wild pitch could have been caught, but his glove was not turned. He sits, and then never backhands the catch. Sometimes, especially is you sit catch, backhanding is the best option.

But don't forget about all the mental errors, from various players and the manager.

Through half a season, I think Okert for Gordon was a fair trade.

spoiler: I thought the Twins got the better of the deal when it happened.

Having Okert prevented them from getting an actual useful reliever

I like how we just don’t cover bases sometimes. It’s unique

We don't trust our infield and catcher not to give up a little league double steal

Impressive that Yelich bunted a runner in. Our hitters would never do that, nor would the manager be smart enough to call for it. Perhaps because our guys can't bunt even if they try?

Someone here has said it many times -- close games are won on the margins and this team is terrible in those margins.  A lot of it falls at the feet of the manager, who has proven in his time here that he still has ZERO clue how to strategize crucial situations, whether it's at the plate or on the mound.

I think that is the crux of it.

Forget about Cleveland for a while. With this aggregate of players we have after all the injuries, I’d be more worried about what the Red Sox and royals are doing.

Just more proof the Twins bullpen is 2 deep. 3 if you trust Alcala

Stewart can't get back soon enough. We may be .500 by then.

Tonight was bad, but I feel like this team mostly plays in close games. And they have a winning record.

Maybe I'm wrong, but when I think "2024 Twins," I think almost exclusively close games and not blowouts.

Stewart has about 4 months of good MLB relief work in his career. Total.

I want him back, but he's a crapshoot.
