While watching a 2023 Spring Training Game, I commented to someone that I was fast forwarding thru Castro’s at-bat because he wasn’t going to make the team.  
I was way too wrong last year, and off the charts wrong in 2024.  Congrats to Willi Castro, who is very deserving of this.  
He joins a list of great utility guys for the Twins, Tovar, Warshington (as Killebrew pronounced it), Newman, Punto, Escobar (and maybe I missed a few more).

He kind of reminds me of Eduardo Escobar.  A guy that wasn't really supposed to be anything other than depth on the bench but ends up playing a really important role for the club.  And Flourishes doing so.  Hope he can keep it up.

I edited my response to include Willi Castro on a list of great utility guys, but he is up there with Escobar and Tovar.

Escobar still remains among the top of my Twins favorites.
