This was a satisfying win. The team got enough runs even though the 2 3 4 hitters  went 0/10. The lineup covered the losses there. Rocco has used a similar version of this lineup lately, I hope he sticks with it. (don't think Larnach leading off is the best call though)

Pablo what else can you say. The bullpen came in at the proper time and with the proper person based on recent results.

Satisfying. Oakland it's been a pleasure. Truly.

Rocco managed to turn runners on 2nd and 3rd, no outs, into 1 run. Farmer, Vazquez, Margot against a RH reliever.

First inning didn't turn out so well. Stuff happens

Rocco puts in PH's; TD complains, Rocco let's the starters hit; TD complains....

Rocco can't WAIT to get his better, LH hitters out at any opportunity, often in the middle innings where there there going to be further RH relievers entering the game.

Rocco refuses to take the same opportunities to get his weak, RH hitters out of a game when the same platoon advantage PH opportunities arise.

They mentioned health issues for both Kepler (neck) and Larnach (foot).  It might be that he really wanted to get them both a couple of days off (or in Kepler's case, a couple more days off.)  We're getting close to the point where we might have been better off putting Kep on the IL and getting Wallner up.  But the cupboard is pretty bare for LH bats right now.

It would appear Baldelli believes the L-L matchup is the one to avoid, with only Kepler getting to face a left handed reliever. There is also a perception that Farmer and Margot are better fielders than the guys who replace them..
